This is a 2 part rating that averages out to 3 stars. For the store itself, I give 4 stars. I have purchased a refrigerator and a washer from this store in the last 90 days. Both times in the store, I was given what I felt was the perfect amount of attention and information. Sales staff were not plentiful, but I was always acknowledged and given their full attention when they made it to me. The inventory and selection are outstanding, as are the prices. Yes, some items are returns or refurbished. Some are also what they call "unboxed", which means they were purchased and either refused at delivery or never picked up. However, they also have a lot of items that are new in box. Everything they sell carries the full manufacturers warranty unless otherwise posted, I asked about this and confirmed multiple times on both purchases. I asked quite a few questions about a variety of products, and I found the staff to be perfectly able to answer them, as well as gave some surprisingly honest reviews and recommendations. The down side of this store is their delivery service, which I give 1 star. The expectation is that they call you the day before and book a time. The reality is that they call you with an automated dialer that tells you what time they will be there, and gives you the option to confirm or cancel and have someone call you to reschedule. Attempting to contact the delivery service provides only a voice mail box, which promises a call back the next day at "their earliest convenience", which from my experience is never. In the end, I feel like the Sears portion of this store earns solid marks in every category. But the use of a terrible and completely unconcerned partner for delivery is inexcusable. These are the people that they send into their customers homes, and they are a very poor representation of the brand. This will not prevent me from considering this store again, but it certainly puts it toward the bottom of my list.

i hate it cause i paid for a Sears certified & tested refrigerator and these SEARS PEOPLE failed to follow the protocol of sears outlet certified policy by professionally testing the fridge before selling it, please read on website,( Customers Purchasing a Certified Appliance or other item from Sears Outlet should expect: A fully functional and operational unit). But once the unit was turned on at my home fridge didnt work, its warm dead, called x help asap, 3 days later, yesterday service technician checked on it, unit has a defective/bad compressor and bad dryer, 8 days before i get my fridge to work normal cause of new parts order, Manager Mr. Cole said bring it back like if its a radio or a computer , the unit weights over 500 lbs. I assumed since they sold a bad Kitchenaid fridge they should pick it up but they refused, i feel they are responsible on the sale, i am spending money to bring ready made meals home every day for 3, an expense i shouldnt have to add into my budget because of a companys negligence, also lost all my existing food that i had on my older fridge and freezer that i had given away thinking i was getting the best high end KITCHENAID from Sears outlet. I am waiting to see if they can agree on something, maybe expedite the parts or refund me for the meals i have to buy out for 8 days or more since i have to wait on parts. Extremely disappointed with service. I paid $1080.00 By all means, please have your appliance tested or at least a written warranty that your appliance should work as new or they will pick up their Sears trash at your residence, please think twice before buying at this place bad customer service.

Pre-Purchase experience was OK. Post Purchase and pick up was not. Purchased on a Thursday, was promised fridge would be moved to back of store for pick up the Saturday after, 2 days following Purchase. Handed receipt to the loader, after waiting 20 minutes I went inside and checked status. They could not find my fridge since the Sales Associate, Erick, did not tag it to be moved to the back. The loader walked off, so I walked right into the store to see if it was still there. I found it still on the floor with the tags off, but it was not in the back. I pointed it out to the group and said "Here it is". Erick the sales associate then opened the door, looked at it, and nodded his head to the loader. He did not say a word to me, apologize for the inconvenience, or even acknowledge that I was there when he was all about my experience 2 days prior when I was ready to spend some money. He looked at me one time as he was walking off and then turned to go back to the front of the store. He seemed more annoyed that I was in the store locating the fridge he clearly forgot to mark to be delivered to the back of the store. "Solid" customer experience, clearly he is there because its a job that pays the bills, and it showed on the post purchase customer experience. The loader apologized numerous times and noted that the associates are supposed to notify them when it is sold so they can move it to the back, so the people in the back are the only ones I would say did a good job that day.

Very very bad experience!!! I expected a confirmed delivery between 9:00 am and 12: noon for a Refrigerator and an hour & an half after 12 noon I received a call from them saying it will be another hour or so. No apology or nothing for having me waiting for them all day and when I finally got to talk to someone and asked them to cancel the order, he claimed the $85.00 delivery charged is UNREFUNDABLE!!! Still no apology and spoke to me with a lots of arrogance and right out NASTY! I ended up having to rescheduled delivery I guess I dont feel to well about losing my $85.00 but I can assure you there will be NO MORE business with Sears even if they are giving everything they have for free!!! Please stay away from Sears; they can cause you to have a stroke! Seriously. After getting confirmation that the delivery was re-scheduled for Tuesday next week, the truck shows up anyway only to tell me that they wont be able to get the fridge thru my door. They put me on the phone with their Supervisor who agreed to make a refund but keep the $85.00 delivery anyway!!! Complete RIPOFF!

Dear Sears,YOU! GUYS! SUCK! I purchased a mattress, a very nice one I might add. Sears clearly stated that you will NOT be charged until the inventory is confirmed, but low and behold I was immediately charged and then received an e-mail 10 minutes later. Care to take a guess at what it said...we do not have the item so you will not be charged. So begins this journey of incompetence and terrible customer service. I called the store they said I was not charged but I WAS so they gave me a hotline number that was equally useless so then I went to the store was treated like a thief and a liar. Then I had to call my bank to confirm that the funds will be returned. Long story short they took money that they said they would not then gave me the absolute WORST service ever and told me it will be 3-5 days until credited for an amount they WERE NOT SUPPOSE TO TAKE. I repeat F@%$ YOU SEARS soon you will go the way of Dilliards, J.C., Macys, etc. I will laugh and find great amusement at your failing.
