Been awhile since coming to get donuts here, but i was in the area so I drove over there Sunday morning at 5 am. Seems they are now opening at 6 am. So here it is 7am got my donuts and driving home. Tasted like old donuts :( I tossed them out the window, that is how bad they were. I dont know when exactly these were made, at 4 am perhaps, so that is 3 hrs sitting on the counter, out in the open getting dried out. They dont have them in the cases like other places. It is just sitting on the counter tops. I wonder about the flies or other incests as again the donuts are sitting ontop of the counter tops. Someone coughs their jerms in the air falls down to the donuts. I dont know what happen, but the taste of these donuts. Was disgusting.

I try to support local businesses as opposed to national or corporate chains. Ive driven by Gates Donuts oodles of times and finally stopped in about a week ago for the first time! Their "Long Johns" -- bavarian cream filled eclair style donuts are to die for --- in a good way! I love their friendliness and well, just personality. Support this business. Theyve been around a long time, and I hope we can help them continue for years to come!

Light and fluffy donuts. If you go early they are still warm. Hands down better than any large donut chain. You wont walk away with a stomach ache from all the preservatives in chain/grocery stores.

Gates has the best donuts Ive ever had. The glazed donuts and maple bacon bars are to die for. Ive never been big on sugar cookies but the cookies here are so good I can eat half a dozen at once.

I went to gates donuts for half a dozen well I payed about $3.00 plus tax when I tried it was very hard lacked the glaze runny they tasted like they were 2 days old. go too dunkin donuts instead.

Wildcats on Morgan and 15th is way better. Same small business feeling but never fails. Plus, no tax on donuts!! Love it :)
