The staff members at Halls are extremely consistent. Consistently RUDE! I would happily give them 3 stars if they would just deliver average service. However, every single time I have been to Halls, the staff go out of their way to be snotty, hateful, and just flat out rude. I would love to be a fly on the wall at one of their staff meetings. Im pretty sure it equates to a think tank of new ways to be horrible people, and their success stories probably consist of bragging about how many customers they pissed off or made cry that week. Halls has clearly grown comfortable in being the only liquor store around. Man, do I wish their was another option close by. I would happily pay a slightly higher premium in order to avoid shopping at Halls. The crazy thing is that neither my wife or I drink alcohol. The only reason I go to Halls is to purchase gifts for friends, or to purchase alcohol for the parties we occasionally host. So we dont go very often. You would think that at some point we would have one half way decent customer service experience, but NOPE! Not a single one. They should change the name from Halls to Dicks and Bitches Beverage Shack.

Had a horrible experience there tonight. The old white haired man behind the counter had a horrible attitude! He treated me and my friend like criminals when he saw that my paper ID was expired. Its bad enough that I have to deal with losing my ID without him being a total ass! This is my local liquor store, I come in regularly and hes normally pretty nice. Hes even had that same paper ID in his hand before! I understand he has to do his job but to act the way he acted is childish: throwing his hands in the air, raising his voice- it was embarrassing! We were just trying to have a good time but instead we felt accosted. I feel bad about his co-workers who he was just yelling at before we stepped up to his register. If I was the business owner I would address this attitude problem immediately!

Dont go there for propane refills. Ive never been there before for propane and needed to get my propane tank topped off. It wasnt empty, but I was planning on using a lot of gas and just wanted to put a couple of gallons in there for insurance. Before I could even open my mouth, the propane attendant grabbed my tank and started filling it. I then asked him how much do I owe and he said $18. I said I only needed a couple of gallons. He said it is a fixed price on all tanks for a fill no matter how much. This price isnt posted anywhere. Its a scam and I SEVERELY overpaid for propane. I used to buy all of my beer/wine there too. Not any more. They lost a long-time customer with this stunt.

I want to reserve 3 x Cases of Iron Joe...been asking about this for the last couple of months. Due to ICY weather I missed the chance to taste the product at the brewery. I am a regular at the store, buying various liquors for at least $70 every other week, so would like a little loyalty for a good customer. Halls Grocery has been around since this area was nothing more than a small country town, that said the owner, Charlie Hall, is incredibly rude. Charlie Hall also chooses to endanger the lives of his customers as well as anyone in the area by regularly engaging in drunk driving. Take your money elsewhere.

If you bring a debit or credit card the name must match exactly to your identification card or they wont sell you anything. This is an annoyance since I have been going here for years. They are one of the only stores near Bedford but recently just been going to liquor store on trinity blvd.

I bought two beers,when i got home i noticed id been charged for a bottle of vodka as well which as the cashier saw me with two beers and ask if "thats it just those two" makes me wonder why and how i got charged a bottle of vodka...wont be going back here in a rush :-/

Lack of customer service. Have been customer since 1991, but now that Wine&Spirits have no customer service whatsoever. Tall blonde at checkout is angry and nasty. Will go to Bear Creek in the future....they know how to serve their custoers.

Its Straight for the most part. Aint sure but almost positive the variety is on deck. Idk bout all the people but the lil ole lite-coloref haored girl there was alright and sure the question answering slemployee ive met there.

While they have a great spirits collection, minus a few really good ones, they have an exceptional craft beer collection. They are really good about getting almost all of the rare beers that come to DFW.

This store is awesome. Great service, good people. And THE BEST selection of beer in the South West. Second only to Specs in Houston. And if Charlie doesnt have what youre looking for hell find it!

Ok the quarters is cramp but its worth it cause of the wide variety of beverages and the bbq deli is a plus. And the negative side is that they are too pricy especially on beer.

Will have most everything you could ask for. And a very helpful staff. Parking can be stressful with the gas station right there.
