Not my favorite natural grocery store, although it carries one item we cant find anywhere else so we keep coming back. When I think of natural grocery stores I expect three things: a good selection of produce, a good selection of non-perishable natural food items (cereal, flour, sauce, etc.) and a good selection of other non-food natural items (shampoo, soap, detergent, etc.). Natural Grocers is decent, not great, on two out of three: non-perishable food items and non-food items. Im always disappointed by their produce selection. Sprouts knocks it out of the park on produce, meat/fish, and bulk foods. Because the average Sprouts store is 2-3 times bigger than a Natural Grocers (with a lot of that used for produce, the meat/deli, and the bulk foods sections), Sprouts is only slightly better stocked than Natural Grocers on non-perishable and non-food natural items. Sprouts feels more like its on the Whole Foods end of the spectrum while Natural Grocers feels more like the co-ops of the old days, back when only hippies cared about natural foods.

I am really impressed with Natural Grocers. Since moving to Austin -- I have not found a REAL vitamin store with quality products until now. They have really good Garden of Life and higher quality brand supplements. Plus they have everything that a much larger Natural Health Food store would carry including FRESH. The other day, I had to return something -- and I had no (ZERO) problems. To me -- that was priceless. The people are knowledgeable, friendly, and around every turn to help you! A great store indeed! 5 Star!

Excellent place. I had mistakenly assumed that organic=$$$ but this place changed that perception quick. High quality organic produce at an affordable price is what they do and they do it well. Kombucha can be bought for relatively reasonable prices, including the scoby if you are so inclined. Very grateful this store is here.

Natural Grocer is a great store to opt towards if you suffer from Gluten and/or Lactose Intolerance. Their selections not only suit those who seek a healthy diet but those who have a restricted diet as well. The store offers some great food and snacks that I would not have access to otherwise.

Stock up once a month on bulk spices, beans, mixs, flours, etc here. Great prices on bulk! Good prices on organic produce, and I always check for the discount produce for freezable items. Good dairy and freezer case. They take coupons and have really good sales. Very helpful staff.

Good prices and selection, friendly staff. However, they did not have a diaper changing station in the womens restroom and I was left with no choice but to change my babys diaper on the floor. If theyd fix that, it would be a great store...

The prices here seem a bit high unless you can catch their sales, but their clearance prices are good and they have a great selection of cosmetics and skin care. The staff is always friendly and helpful as well.

Love this place. They have their own health magazine you can take for free, and sometimes they have really good sales! I sign up for their email newsletters and their rewards programs to get the best deals.

Really great produce. Even though their selection is small, it is priced great and always very fresh! The employees are super friendly, which is important to me. They also have a lot of grass-fed products.

Lower prices than Whole Foods, is also not overwhelming if you are just looking for specific things... also they run great specials, like 1.99 for Kombucha!
