The speed of the WIFI here reminds me of dial-up connections from the 90s. While atmosphere & quality do count for something, it all seems a bit worthless if one cant surf or conduct business without having to wait 20 to 30 seconds for a simple page of text to load... it gets frustrating pretty quickly. Though some folks may consider that typical for coffee shop WIFI, Ive been around and experienced much better speeds at similar establishments which are FULL of active laptops! Moral of the story: if youre going to charge over $2 for a SMALL coffee, your WIFI needs to perform accordingly.

Its fun to find it in the alley. Nice and small place and you feel the good smell of the coffee as you walk in. I ordered an Afforest and a cafe Latte. The Afforest was pretty nice I liked the taste if the Coffee mixed with Ice cream. I would suggest you two ask for two shots as I think increasing the contrast between the bitter coffee and the sweet vanilla coffee. The latte was also very nice but I would rather much less milk in it. I would suggest you asking for less. However, i think it was a great experience I would go there for sure again.

If you want a totally corporate coffee chain experience this very well could be the place for you. However, if you want a real coffee shop, try the local spot just 50 feet down the road. I cant believe a huge corporate store like this would be so brazen as to open directly next door to another coffee shop. I have been here a couple of times and thought it was pretty bad, but after seeing the type of business they run, I will never go back...

Im all about local businesses, but rarely have I found a place that served good quality coffee. This place is the exception (I know...its not local). Their house coffee is some of the most flavorful and satisfying Ive ever had. Need a quick, affordable kick-start thats not Starbucks? Go here. Also, their oatmeal is the bomb as you can add about 2-3 toppings and there are plenty of options to satisfy any palate.

This definitely my favorite coffee in the city. It blows SB out of the water in terms of consistency, quality and service. We like the coffee so much that we got one of their home machines and now get the pods and powder and make our own lattes and espresso. When Im really in the mood for a treat though, I head in to have them make me a Cherry Blossom latte or White Chocolate Mocha!

I stopped by a few times while on a trip, and ordered a Mocha Ice Blended each time I went. Since I cant have dairy, I ordered it made with soy milk. Each time, an employee would inform me that the cocoa powder had trace amounts of milk. That was really sweet of them, and I never had an issue after drinking it! It was delicious every time.

Great place! Ask for a hot dark chocolate latte with ice added on top, one of the few places that did it right! Friendly people, great drinks and an easy location to hit between destinations on a work trip to the city. Location is also near the river and walking paths, a pitch and putt and the bridges.

Coffee Bean is ok, if not kind of overpriced. I dont really understand why people go here when there are so many good, independent coffee places around town. The atmosphere is bland and similar to Starbucks, but with lighter wood and more windows. Okay place to get some work done in a pinch.

Some times you just want an ice tea flavor other than passion fruit and green tea. They always have at least 5 options caffeine and caffeine free. Today I had cherry green tea. The staff is always friendly. Ok parking. nice outside patio good for doing work and people watching.

Not being a big coffee drinker because of taste means Im selective in coffee houses. The Coffee Bran and Tea Leaf has a pretty descent Skinny Soy Vanilla Latte, much better than Starbucks. They tend to have a more local feel and not be so main stream driven, in my opinion

Cute coffee shop located in downtown Austin. They have a great selection of pastries and the coffee they serve is good. The staff was friendly as well. It can be a little tough to get out of the parking lot during rush hour but its worth the stop.

The staff are extremely cordial and willing to make your drink exactly as you want it. The selections that they have also satisfy whatever coffee you would want to drink. This is definitely a coffee joint that people should go check out.

They make coffee using powders instead of syrups. This gives their drinks a very different and far richer flavor. The Wifi is limited, so dont expect to spend all day there. That said, enjoy all the drinks and the well made oatmeal.

This place is really cute. They have my favorite apple juice here, and they also have caffeine free beverages for those of us who cant handle the wiring! Also there are plenty of convenient locations.

Favorite coffee place, better than starbucks and cheaper too! Get the iced caramel latte! Only complaint would be that they couldnt break big bills but that isnt enough for me to rate it any less.

There are too many great local coffee shops to play around with this one. The baristas kept asking me about my order, the music inside was drab and the ambiance was so-so. The coffee was blah.

Tea selection was on the short side but delicious and the lemon blueberry scones were amazing. Wifi too. Weekday afternoon had a quiet atmosphere, staff was very kind and helpful.

I prefer Coffee Bean over Starbucks, only because I feel like their service are friendlier. They offer a good variety of drinks. Their Tea selection is definitely one of the best!

Nothing specific about this location but I personally dont love The coffee bean. I continually go back every few months to see if my opinion changes but it has yet to impress me.

I personally am not a fan of the powder mixes that they use in all of theyre drinks. It makes the drinks taste chalky and fake. They do, however, have a good selection of food.

Love coffee bean. Have been coming to this location since it opened. Outdoor seating is great. Kind of cramped inside. There is parking which is great.

Good coffee, good selection. The patio is shaded in the mornings. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because the parking is inadequate.

Friendly staff and pretty tasty coffee. I just order an iced coffee with cream but I think the coffee tastes a bit less acid than Starbucks.
