I live right down the street so this is nice and convenient if I need to go grab something. Yes the prices are a bit higher, but I dont shop there for all of my groceries. Recently I went in there to get a some slice deli turkey. There were several guys (I had never seen them working there before) working the deli and no one helped me for a while. Finally one of them comes out and I looked up ready to order and he proceeds to busy himself with other things. Another one comes out and says "can I get you anything else?". I never even ordered to start. I simply told him I had not ordered yet. Then both of them looked at me and I said who do I order from. Finally I tell one of them what I would like. The sliced the turkey and I went to another aisle. I heard them all in the back laughing and cutting up. They had very loud rap music playing. I am in my 27 so I am against rap music. It was just not how employees should be acting. It was distracting! It continued for the whole 30 minutes I was in the store. I got home and I discovered my turkey was all sliced from the end. There was not actual turkey in there. I will not go back in there again unless I have to.

Fresh Plus has... Fresh Food Counter ++ Fresh Produce ++ Specialty items ++ While Fresh Plus doesnt compete with the selection or prices of larger stores, like HEB or Randalls, its a great neighborhood grocery store with a unique selection of items, quality produce and a yummy pre-made food counter. I used to live in Clarksville and would stop by the Fresh Plus on my way home to get some dolmas or other treats from their food counter which usually contains items like tamales, couscous, asparagus, fruit and vegetable salads etc. Its also a convenient place to get items forgotten during my weekly visit to a larger grocery store or if I wanted a convenient treat. The downside to Fresh Plus is that for some items, the prices are higher than a large chain grocer, but for others theyre pretty similar. Being only a tiny store, the selection is not as vast as larger grocery stores, but t compensate they do carry unique/local items that often cant be found at larger stores. There is also a sense of community that is not felt while shopping at larger grocery stores.

I love fresh plus, I love everything from the selection of smoked meats, to the selection of cheese and beverages it is all grand. The people that work there are all very nice, however there is the one person there that is so rude. He has medium length hair that is straigh with a slighty wave to it. I remember asking him for something in addition to what I had just ordered and the look I got back from him was shocking. You would have thought I had asked him to cut his leg off and hand it to me... I actually found myself apologizing for even asking. Yep he is a real gem lol. There are 3 other guys that work there, two of them are brothers from what I hear and the other has short curly hair usually wears a hat. Any time me or my husband come in there they are so nice and so willing to get you anything you need. I must have to say that my last visit to the market was less then the norm however everyone has a bad day and there is always going to be that one bad apple ; )

I have gone to Fresh Plus a few times because I live very close by but I will not shop there again. Yes, things there can be overpriced. Yes, it is annoying but that really isnt what bothers me . The customer service is probably the worst I have ever had. The cashiers are extremely rude, really stupid, and pretentious. I honestly believe that one of their cashiers is actually retarded. Whenever I am waiting to pay, my groceries are mashed into a bag and the I am talked to curtly and without any eye contact. One of them asked if I wanted paper or plastic, I said I didnt care, then she asked if paper was ok. I also have to be subjected to gossip while I am waiting to pay about the cashiers love life. It is like I am not really there. Whoever is the manager there-do the store a favor and get better cashiers. These retarded fools need to get a life.

I love this place! It has a unique appealing feel and there is something for everyone, from students to the gourmet cook! They carry gourmet items like pates and cheeses as well as everything else. They even have chicken enchiladas in the deli. I think their selection is great! The prices I believe span a reasonable range which stands out as another one of the reasons I will be shopping there! Plus the help is truly customer friendly. Over the top in customer service all around especially up front and in the deli. Not to mention the meat case which I think would give any other market a run for the money. Their beckoning fresh fruits and vegetables welcome you when you walk in the door and you can see why they named the market Fresh Plus!

Okay, so this review is for the location in 2917 W. Anderson Ln. This place is perfect for the Allendale crowd who want to have a quicker shopping experience than one provided at HEB or Randalls. Yes, the prices are more expensive, but IMO to avoid the hassle of going to a bigger store it is so worth it. Love the idea of a meat counter, too, very big city feeling. FYI, if you are looking for pre-packaged meat that is a bit cheaper, they have a sale section just next to the counter and it is frozen already. The dairy section is also divine. If you are looking for a wide variety of processed and snack food, look elsewhere, because this store is primarily focused on the perimeter items, which is A-okay with me!

Really great grocer. Hard to describe its size. Its not a massive supermarket but its not just a corner store either. It has a great fresh deli, with really terrific smoked salmon. Checkout is confusing, though. You put your items up on the counter sortof next to the cashier but its not clear how that works. Huge beer selection. Fairly large parking lot. The only complaint I would have is that most of the frozen food selections are sortof high-end. I couldnt find cheap frozen pizza, for instance. They have a mix of national brands and local / Texas brands. For instance they have K-Cups for coffee in odd local brands Id never seen. All in all a great local store.

Absolutely phenomenal customer service. Ive never written a review before, and this is well-deserved. I was sent on a grocery run by the Austins film Festival as an intern, and Im from Ohio, never been here, my list was vague, and the employees were SO SO SO helpful. I was offered help multiple times by a man who was stocking, didnt get his name. Both the man at the deli and Rain at the register were amazing at what they do. Not only did they do their jobs efficiently and extremely well, they conversed with me so easily, it felt like Id known them for years. Rain held the door open for me on the way out and I left with a grocery shopping experience I never thought Id have!
