I like this store. You can find good deals here, especially in the meat and seafood section. I have gotten more than a few packages of beef and chicken here to put in the freezer. They are usually two pound packages - or more - and they would be marked about half of the original price. For those who check such things, the sell by date is usually very good and several days away. The staff at the checkouts are usually very friendly as well. Many are willing to talk to you as they ring up your order and they acknowledge you as a person.

I love my local food lion there employees are all awesome! They have what I need and in stock about 98% of the time. But thats just on coke products provided and stocked by coca cola. Clean store as well. I love there sale prices and meat dept keeps up with meat sales as well. I have found myself shopping here and saving a little more money than I do at Walmart. Thanks food Lion you are great

Good store but poor customer service they wont bag any of your groceries you have to do it and they let people get in the 12 items or less line with 23 items and theres only two lines open and line people back through the aisles takes forever to get out of there

Great place to stop for something quick. Prices arent always consistent though. Their selectuon can be bigger than some of their larger competitors. If only they offered fuel points.....

Overall a good place. People are friendly and its clean. The only downfall is it is the only place besides mapco open after 10 or so and they dont sell phone cards that late.
