This review is only regarding the furniture part of the store. 2 ladies working, and my husband and I waited in line to place a custom furniture order. Well, as the lady in front of us finished, the ladies behind the counter had a friend come in, and they completely ignored us, after waiting 25 minutes, which we were the only people left inside, so obviously no confusion about who was next, and helped her. If my business isnt valued, I will take it else where. Also, the reason that the wait was so long is because they didnt know how to use the card reader attached to the tablet, and charged the woman twice. Very sad service, and disappointed after driving from smyrna.

Yesterday I had a delightful experience but today my experience left me vomiting next to my car. To summarize: an employee took a very smelly poop in the bathroom and proceeded to make me a sandwich without washing her hands and shed at least 3 strands of her hair inside of it. I returned the sandwich immediately and she offered to make me a new one but at that point I was so disgusted I got a refund and promptly vomited outside. Her and the young man employee acted like this was totally normal? I want this place to do well. But this lack of sanitation is dangerous. Buy pre packaged goods only.

THIS. PLACE. When my wife and I walked in here, we didnt expect to have our taste buds literally explode. Yes, I know what literally means. If you walk in there now, you will find them, scattered about the floors and walls of this establishment. We purchased a sampling of several things, and continued our merry way of taste explosions until we had consumed all the things we purchased, and now were planning to go back soon, with a cooler in tow, so that we can purchase more and safely transport it back to our home (an hour away). If you want some good wholesome local eats: this is your stop.

DO NOT go for breakfast! What a shame they have to use the Amish culture to lure people in! The ultimate disappointment. Being from Ohio near Amish country, Ive eaten at plenty of Amish food - this was definitely not anything different than Shoneys - actually Shoneys is better! Unfriendly staff - before you could get situated in the place they kept barking "youve got to pay first"- -repeating several times...then the food was limited, out of eggs, pancakes, bacon was good! No condiments in tables, even a timer in the bathroom!! Dont waste your time or money!!!

We wandered in here for the first time while exploring the local antique shops, not sure what to expect. What we found was a GEM! We were there at an odd time, just before dinner... not a soul was in there other than us and a single employee. She allowed us to sample several of their meats, cheeses, cinnamon rolls and chicken salads. Everything was SO delicious that we ordered a ham for the holidays from them! We took home some cinnamon rolls that day, but were still planning to get back over there with a cooler so that we can stock up on some meats and cheese!

This is my favorite secret getaway in the Nashville area. Great Amish jams, breads, some great fried pies, and something new and awesome every visit. Above and beyond the amazing food and treats you will find is the customer service that Darin the owner/operator gives. Hell let you sample anything and everything, and is just a down home, nice guy....and in business these days, thats completely rare. Well worth the trip from anywhere in the Nashville area.

Honestly, I was very disappointed when I went in. I thought that I would find a selection of local fruits and veggies and lots of yummy homemade items. Unfortunately, I found the store quite bare and not a lot of interesting things to try. It seemed more like a local deli I would find in East Nashville and not a quaint Amish market.

Its sad because I like their Saturday breakfast but I havent been back in over 2 years due to a very unfriendly and rude African American lady that worked the buffet. The remainder of the staff are very friendly. The food is good too and there is neat stuff in the store. Love their coffee. One bad apple ruins the bunch.

Fun place to visit. Homemade eats and treats. Wouldve given 5 stars if theyve given me more chicken salad. I didnt want it on bread so they just gave me a little scoop on a mound of lettuce. It was very good!

WARNING! The contents found within should be considered extremely delicious. For desserts, choose the cinnamon rolls. For lunch, grab the chicken salad and Amish bread. Usually very busy on Saturdays.

Very down to earth, genuine management. The owner has always gone above and beyond to serve customers, from what I have seen. Always recommended.

Saturday breakfast is terrific. But the rest of the time, as Nannie would say, its the nearest to nothing and way over-priced.

Try the ice cream counter: crispy Keme or chocolate with cinnamon and cayenne. Good canned pickles too.

They dont have anything you cant find cheaper in Nashville. Save your gas and go to Maxwell Brothers.
