I went into the Walmart at 2232 Gallatin PK N. Madison, TN and had one of the most terrible experiences I have had at Walmart. I was going to purchase two pictures from home goods that were marked 12.96. When I got to the register they rang up 24.00. It took the woman 15 minutes to get up there to see what the issue was, 15 more minutes to get back from checking just to tell me there was no barcode and they had the exact same issue the day before. I asked the question, "well if there was the exact same issue yesterday, why didnt you all fix it?" She then informs me that there was a sign under those that read 12.96, but that didnt belong to those. I asked for a manager. A CSM named Rhonda came over and was very nice and did a great job by calling an assistant manager. another 15 minutes passed. The woman from home goods stood there and kept making comments to me like, "these arent 12.96, I dont know why you are even asking and there is no sign for 12.96 back there (after she had just told me there was but for something else). I had $260.00 worth of groceries sitting there. Most of it was parishable and I wouldt particularly want to eat it after it had all thawed out while waiting on these incompetant people. The lady from home goods kept making comments at me. I looked at the CSM and said, "hey if the manager doest get up here I will walk out and leave all of this here. Five more minutes passed, the woman made one final comment, I looked at them and said, "Im sorry but I have waited here over 45 minutes to check out" and I walked out. From the parking lot I called and talked to Nancy, one of the most hateful people as a manager I have ever talked to. She basically said I should have just waited to talk to her and there wasnt anything she could do. I told her that I am a manager where I work and we NEVER treat people with so much disrespect! I also told her I would be calling corporate office and she acted like she didnt care at all. So I had to spend my 300.00 elsewhere and will shop elsewhere from now on.

I bought some headphones and opened them in the store but kept my receipt and continued shopping for about 2 1/2 hours. Mostly looking around, killing time. I bought some random things for my kids, a tank top for myself, and a drink. As i was about to walk out the door, after paying of course, a man tapped my shoulder and asked to me follow him. I asked him who he was and he said, "just follow me." I told him, "my parents taught me not to follow strangers," to which he didnt find humorous and let me see his security badge. The only thing I could think of was maybe someone broke into my car or stole it. So I followed him to the other side of the store into a room filled with screens showing every camera angle in the store. There was a lady sitting at the desk. The guy asked me if I knew why I was in there and I said, "no you wouldnt tell me or did you just forget to mention it?" He looked at the woman and said, "would you enlighten her?" I said, "yes please do enlighten me because I dont like these little games hes playing, thinking hes a big fella going to intimidate a girl like a bully." Focusing my attention on her, she said, "well, because of you stealing those things in your ears." I said, "you are top security; bullying AND descriptive but you obviously both suck at your jobs because first of all, I have a receipt and second, THEY WERE IN A LOCKED CASE. Or did you catch me breaking into that too?" They both scrambled to find the camera near electronics and insisted they didnt know they were locked up. Of course, with my dry sense of humor, I said, "yall definitely deserve a raise. Can I go now?"

I was in an RV and the manager called the police at 2:30am to kick all the campers off the property because they had become a liability once so many arrived throughout the night for the eclipse. Not in keeping with Walmarts policy to allow campers to park. We were just sleeping and were rudely awoken by the (admittedly very pleasant) policeman. But this Walmarts actions were unacceptable. Sure, they took my partys money when we went in to buy supplies, but when push comes to to shove, we got booted in the middle of the night in unfamiliar territory. I will never shop at Walmart again in my life. My children will never shop at Walmart again. My friends will never shop at Walmart again. I will engage in a campaign and notify the local news stations and all of the camping community and drag the companys name through the mud for their poor treatment of us. My message will be the same for all time and in perpetuity: Walmart doesnt value you. Walmart thinks youre only a number, a slave from which they extract their pound of flesh. They are a cancerous tumor, feeding on the desperate need of the people. Judgement will be swift. No one will shop at Walmart again. It will be a happy day.

February 2017 will mark a year of me working at Walmart, and I definitely would give it a 5 star as a customer AND associate. Management is very sweet and down right honest, our store manager, Jason Holland, is the BEST boss Ive ever had, and Walmart as a one is THE BEST job Ive ever had.

This is the Walmart on Gallatin Pike in Madison, TN on the left before you cross into Sumner County. Poor service. I tried to use their pet tag machine which required exact change. The checkout lady sent me to the service desk where only one lady was working. The other was sitting in a Walmart wheel chair taking her break. The service desk lady/supervisor sent me back to the checkout girl to change my $20. When I got to the checkout lady she told me they cant give change at Walmart. I asked to see supervisor. She brought the lady from the service desk over who had already refused my request for change. She said she would not give me change. At that point I left. Right hand does not know what the left hand is doing here. Beware.
