Any store can sell products, but this store offers something of much greater value, and that is expertise. The staff have been there for years, and most of them were at the old location before the store moved to its present location. The fact that personnel remains for years and decades shows two important facts. They have years and years of experience to offer customers, and, the store must be worthy as an employer to retain its employees. Lastly, for years when I needed 8 or 10 screws or nuts or other small parts, I always bought a whole box of 100 or so for very little more than the cost of 10 or a dozen. Over the years, Ive built up a stock of common parts in my garage. But the real point here is that one can buy a whole box of them at this Ace Hardware. In big-box stores, you can only buy a pack of 4 or 6, and sometimes maybe a pack of 10 at the most. Now that Johnson Hardware is gone, This Ace Hardware is the only old-time hardware in the area. Shop there for their expertise first, then whatever it is that you actually need to purchase.

I have shopped at Tusculum for the entire time I have lived in Nashville. I appreciate the years of experience represented by their staff. I often come in with a question or a problem with a piece of equipment, and they thoughtfully reflect on the issue, come up with a solution and it is often not the most expensive choice. Such honestly and care should be celebrated! I do a lot of my shopping for my school garden there as well, knowing that they will stand by any equipment that they sell!

I RECENTLY NEEDED WORK ON MY WELL USED STIHL BLOWER AND CHAIN SAW. ON BOTH UNITS ,WHICH ARE OVER 10 YEARS OLD, CLIFF IN THE SERVICE DEPT GAVE ME HONEST AND VERY REASONABLE REPAIRS. YOU CAN EASILY JACK UP REPAIRS ON EQPT. THIS OLD. BUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. THE BLOWER AND CHAIN SAW WERE EXPERTLY REPAIRED AND WORK GREAT NOW. ALL MY REPAIRS WILL GO TO CLIFF (ACE) NOW, NOT SO MUCH FOR THE REASONABLE PRICE BUT FOR HIS HONESTY AND EXPERT WORK. ACE AND I ARE LUCKY TO HAVE YOU!

Ive been going to this store, though it moved, since I was a kid. They have great customer service, everyone makes you feel welcome. Theyre very helpful and courteous. Once you learn where everything is, its quick to get in and out and they offer good parking too.

You need to change your website that says you are open Sundays from 12 am to 12 pm. We wasted a trip to hurry and get here by noon, only to find that you are not open on Sunday at all.
