WalMart Neighborhood Market - GET YOUR FREE STUFF HERE! 109 Gallatin Pike N, Madison, TN 37115 There is no monitoring of self checkout stations at WalMart Neighborhood Market in Madison, TN which makes it possible for you to not have to pay for your products YOURSELF. That’s right! Just look at this incident where one customer tries to force another to pay for their products. Tonight at Walmart Neighborhood Market in Madison, some lady wasn’t happy I was using the self checkout. I scanned my cat food and nutrition bar, and as I was ready to pay, she got upset, and scanned her hair relaxer and said I’d have to pay for that since I was using the only open self-checkout. I had to have a WalMart employee come and void her hair relaxer so I could finish checking out. Why would you do that? Just scan your stuff on someone else’s order??!!!! She also tried to run me down in the parking lot as I was walking to my car. She wasn’t very happy. Maybe I should have just bought her $4.00 hair relaxer. I spoke to the manager this morning, he advised me the store is short staffed which is why there was no one at the self checkouts to diffuse this. He also explained the security officer was late to his shift which could have served as a deterrent to the woman trying to hit me in the parking lot as I walked to my car. He was very sincere and apologetic. While management was extremely apologetic, at this WalMart it appears you don’t have to pay for your own purchase if you go through self checkout. It’s a free-for-all. Just scan it on someone else’s order and force them to pay for it. There’s no one at this location to stop you!

Hey, its a Walmart property and it delivers pretty much what you expect. Selection is surprisingly good and personally I prefer overall low, fair prices vs what other stores offer - where they give you super specials on some items and then gouge you on everything else. Check outs are usually pretty well staffed and everyone is generally friendly. This location recently underwent a major reset and makeover. I liked the previous look better, but overall its still fine. Have occasionally gotten chicken from the deli and its OK. For health and beauty, paper products, cleaning supplies, and other non grocery items, prices seem to be the same as they are at a full-on Walmart, so thats fantastic. Bottom line... you wont be able to find anything extraordinary, unique or remarkable here, but for common, mainstream grocery and household items at good prices, this store delivers. When this store opened almost 10 years ago, it looked like Walmart was interested in doing something a bit more refined in the grocery space vs the traditional Walmart. Its evolved into exactly what youd expect a Walmart grocery store to be, and that’s a little disappointing. Still, for what it is, its just fine.

Have to say its not bad. Produce section is always clean and fresh, but best to eat it soon as it always seems to have a short shelf life. Selection is limited (like no diet sprite just regular, only 5 cheese varieties to choose from) but it is all that a typical mid to low income family wants anyways. Ethnic food section needs to expand to reflect an expanding ethnic community and expanding interest in ethnic cuisine by the general public.

This is stupid. Tried to apply for a job online., Didnt work. Typed in my Social security number. Took me to a PIN code page. Then that was it. System error. Sounds like a bunch of scam to me. Contacted customer service. Been left on "hold" for almost ten minutes. She didnt even say "please hold". For real , now? If you didnt want to assist me, please let me know. Otherwise, its just a huge waste of my time. Thanks for nothing. ﹁﹁

I frequent this location. Multiple times a week. Very convenient for me in relation to where i live. Generally the store is in good shape. Just a problem with waiting in line sometimes. The store will be packed with people and there will be 3 lines open. However this seems to be a WALMART in general problem across the board not really this store by itself.

Went to pick up money gram and the girl at customer service never spoke to customers in front of me all she did was chew her gum and blow bubbles i have worked in customer service for over 20 yrs and also been a mgt never did i are allow my team to chew gum blow bubbles in front of a customer that was very rude and disrespectful to do that

I tend to go here around 6-7 PM on weekdays, and use the self-checkout lanes. I can usually get what I need and get out in around 15-20 minutes. If you dont mind self check-out its great. If you want someone else to check you expect to wait a little while as the lines can get a bit slow during the rush.

LOVE this store, every staff is helpful asking if your finding everything. Clean polite and well stocked. Now they have new meat and deli case added sushi bar, have not used them but looking forward to it. Have seen staff help people to car with groceries too. Amazing for that to still happen these days.

Store is okay. It doesnt carry all the brands I like, but for a neighborhood market its fine. I usually get courteous check-out clerks, but the one I got today was not friendly at all and acted as tho shed rather be anywhere but at her job.

Prefer going here than the Super Wal-Mart by our house because it is calm and not over crowded. They have a better selection of products than the Super Wal-Mart by me also. Definitely worth driving a couple extra miles!

Typical Walmart store. Not very clean, not well stocked, angry people shopping, and cashiers who dont care. If you need something cheap its okay but it wont be fast or stress free.
