I needed two custom mats made for some frames I needed to hang. I told the framing department when they asked for the measurements (after telling me I didnt need to bring the frame and the artwork into the store) that I needed a mat to fit an 8 x12 photograph to fit a 16x20 frame. I purchased them at around 8pm (they closed at 9). When I got home and assembled my framing, the opening in the mats were too large and the prints fell through. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the mats were cut very sloppily (it looked like they had done it in a hurry) and some of the mat near the opening had cuts in it as well. I called the framing department and talked to them and they basically acted like I was a moron and said that if I ordered a mat for an 8x12 I needed to order the mat smaller by about 1/4 to make sure that the photo didnt fall through. They were very unapologetic and rude and implied I should have known this (how? I do not work in framing. they should have told me that when I ordered it). I then asked to speak to a manager who was also rude and acted like I was stupid and said that there was nothing they could do because "the error wasnt on their part". He told me I was free to come back in and purchase ANOTHER mat once I had given them the CORRECT measurements for the picture. Excuse me? Wont be giving them any more of my business.

I have never been to this hobby lobby was my first time it was me n my 7 year old son well he had to use the bathroom well a guy was cleaning the mens room so i was like well can i just take him to use the womens like i said 7years old and the guy said no that they have a rule boys cant use the womans restroom with their mother at a certain age that the store next door was open after that i stopped shopping and left i will never be back there agian for not letting a 7 year old use the bathroom that cant hold it long enough to go next door n also peed his pants because of that

I love crafting, and up until Hobby Lobby decided it was going to make healthcare decisions for its employees, I was a loyal HL customer. I realize the Kingsport store wasnt the best of them. It was always kind of messy and the staff didnt really seem to care about helping you with anything. But did they have great stuff if you knew what you were looking for? Sure. Their yarn section totally beats Michaels any day. But I have not shopped at HL since they decided they were above the law, and if the entire chain shuts down I think Im ok with that.

Went to return two items that were broken when i got them home, very fragile and poorly wrapped by cashier. The male manager was very rude and basically told me they do not sell broken merchandise, i would have to eat the price of one item, and that my complaints to corporate would fall on deaf ears. Very unprofessional staff and management. I contacted the Better Business Bureau. Dont shop there.

Horrible at checkout they are slow and one of the up front managers I guess she is took ppl that had just walked up after me and there waited over 15 for cashier to look up return stuff for someone else Im very up set this is crazy!!!! I want return to this hobby lobby and I will let ppl know how front end is ran!!!

This huge store has help around every corner. The shelves are stocked with product, giving a gorgeous display. Friendly staff throughout the store to assist, and tend to the restocking/ reorganizing of the shelves. Very clean, bright, and inviting. Prices are very decent, and they always honor the online coupons.

Politics aside, I really like this store. I can always find items that I like. Its one of the few fabric stores left in the area for non-quilting fabrics. I often shop at other craft stores but for certain items Hobby Lobby wins out.

This place is one of the best places to go if you want to kill time. You literally can spend hours in there. There is so much to look at. Dont forget to take a coupon or just use the app on your smartphone for 40% off 1 item.

Great selection of craft materials, hobby supplies, home decor, and more. The downside is price. Unless its on sale, the price is high. They do offer coupons online , and dont forget they are closed on Sundays.

Huge store with lots of goodies. Good prices. Got lost in the bathroom tho. Really need maps for the stalls. Also got hand stuck in toilet paper dispenser when looking for key to Algeron. Unclear directions.

This can be a dangerous place, as you walk in for one thing, and end of leaving with many more things as they have so much stuff. For holidays, Hobby Lobby is great to get decorations for.
