On my last visit to this store, I waited @ the checkout counter - the only counter "open" at the time - for several minutes. There was an attendant at this checkout counter, who was on the phone when I approached the counter. I assumed he was talking w/a customer, so I waited patiently. And kept waiting, and waiting... Eventually I realized he wasnt on the phone w/a customer, but his vet, and he was talking about his own animal(s), ignoring the customers (by then there were @ least 3 of us waiting to be checked out). The customer behind me commented on the employees rudeness, to take a personal phone call at work while multiple customers were waiting to be checked out. I understand that sometimes people are at the mercy of their medical providers. If theres an emergency that needs answers, I dont hold it against them to take the call and try to resolve the issue. However, that employee is still at work, and still responsible for overseeing his duties. If he was unable to check us out himself, he should have found another employee to cover his post while he took the important call. But to ignore multiple customers is completely unprofessional. PetSmart lost a customer that day, as I got fed up of waiting and walked out. (If I could post this w/zero stars, I would).

I have taken my 2 year old pom to petsmart for a bath/groom since he was a baby every 4 to 5 months. First con, it clearly states in their package that bathing includes anal gland cleaning. As of this day, my dog was at Petsmart 2 weeks ago. 1 week ago I had to take my pom to The ER Vet because he developed a prolapsed rectum. Two days later, had to take him to his regular vet because it was getting worse. Turns out, his anal glands were so full that they were infected and could have ruptured any second. Petsmart does not provide the service that they state. They just assume that the pet owners have no way of knowing whether the anal glands are cleaned or not. Also, you have to leave your dog for 4 hours to give them enough time to bath and clean them, which is fine.. but every time I pick him up at his scheduled time I end up waiting for an extra 30 mins or so because they arent finished.. and lastly their customer service is AWFUL. As for the store itself, i feel its overpriced and most of the same things can be gotten at walmart for 1/2 the price.

Never going to Petsmart groomers again, when I dropped her off a lady never introduced herself. Just grabbed my dog and took her in the back; didnt ask any questions about her. So I had to ask to have them bring my dog back up so I could show them her sensitive spots. I got her home and had to brush her again to get all the lose fur they missed, nails were untouched no trimming or filling. She is at least whiter, so they got one thing right. And it took them 5 hrs when they told me about 3. And I would have never known she was done because no one called, I just went up there cause they were taking to long.

Fish department older lady was so rude for no reason. The first time I came by there for the small gold fish I noticed the tank was just full of sick dying and dead fish so I didnt buy any. This last time the tank "looked" better but the older lady was so rude. Body language all but bodily pushed my son out of in front of the tank she needed, made exasperation sounds etc. I WILL NOT EVER RECOMEND OR EVER GO BACK THERE.

My pugs love going to Petsmart with us. They get to talk to lots of friendly folks and other animals. Weve adopted 2 of our cats from their adoption center that feature local rescue groups. We visit Petsmart at least once a week. The sale prices are great (frequently better than the major discount store nearby!).

Went to get chemicals for my fish tank.. I bought and used the product they sold me.. Woke up the next morning ALL MY FISH WERE DEAD... THEY MURDERED MY FISH.. CALL UP THERE THEY SAY.. SHE SHOULDNT OF SOLD YOU THAT.. WHAT!!!! MURDERS PURE AND SIMPLE MURDERS... WITH NO COMPASSION FOR MY FAMILY MEMBERS

Just left Petsmart in Jackson tn, at 6:30pm. And they were INCREDIBLY rude and disrespectful to us. We asked not one but two the same question ans then when we walked away they started talking back and not being a hood employee at all. We will NEVER RETURN AVIAN.

As soon as i step foot into this store I am greeted with unbelieveable customer service. I came to get my puppy cleaned and from the first moment everyone was nice and knew what they were talking about. I recomend Petsmart to any pet care needs!

My favorite place to take my pups. Great deals usually and one stop shopping for your pet needs. They also have a GREAT staff. They are always able to answer my questions about making the best choices for my pets.

I would not take my pet here. The people are NOT nice, they do NOT care about your pet, and they are expensive. Try a local groomer.
