All life is precious and its an outstanding place to buy pet supplies. While I noticed their rodents, reptiles, and felines seem content.. The poor fish that cannot even make a cry for help are the ones being endangered. My significant other and I purchased 2 beautiful male bettas about 3 months ago; they are living happy and healthy with us and are active and blowing us loving bubbles. Wonderful fish that both have 2 different personalities. It seems some of the employees dont see these lives as precious. Over the few weeks of visiting to view other potential new additions to our family, and possible mates for our beautiful males, it seems they have not been cleaned and taken care of properly. One betta floated on its side but was still swimming when disturbed or there was attempted interaction. We mentioned this to an employee 2 days ago when we found the poor baby in this condition. We came in today and saw the same fish in the same condition we saw it in. We pointed it out to 2 employees and they looked at us like we didnt know anything about fish care. Saying its "normal" for them to lay on their side. Any child knows otherwise and its very sad that nothing was done about it until we said something and showed them that the betta was sick. And that "action" was directly draining out the bowls and dropping them into freshly added water which should SIT for an HOUR to help the bettas ADJUST to the temperature and distill enough.

What has happened to the friendly atmosphere in this store? The cashiers walk around with long faces, never smiling, dont even reply when spoken to. I thanked a cashier for putting out a caution sign when I mentioned that it might be a good idea bc there was water on the floor where the ceiling was leaking...and she just walked off like I wasnt even there. The last 3 times I have been in here with my daughter, I couldnt wait to leave because everyone on the floor was moody and unhappy. Petsmart is not much better. I will not be back. I will be going to Pet Supermarket, where they at least respond when spoken too.

Took two dogs to beginner adult dog training we always showed up for every class and drove up from Summerdale. We never canceled. The instructor broke her arm and canceled the last week two times then we were told it would be several weeks. Never heard back. The dogs never got tested or seen graduation or even got a completion of class from them. We didnt get a partial refund or even a credit. We got nothing at all to prove the two dogs even went there. Disappointed and wont go back. Too far and difficult for us with a husband with a disability and try to work it around his medical appointments.

Your associates talked me out of a highly vet recommended dog food brand, telling me its the worst possible thing to feed. But they had a dog food product thats just the perfect thing. One small catch, it turns out to be a Petco owned brand! Not that you can find that out without some online research. A brand that hasnt had feeding trials, nor is it specific for puppies or large breeds. So by trying to swindle me out of $20 for a stealthily petco owned, inferior product, you just lost a customer. And I returned the food so you didnt even get anything out of it.

This is my favorite place to get my animal supplies. Their prices are better than Petsmart and they also give out really good coupons every month. The manager who works here is always really nice and helpful. The cashier, I believe her name is Cass, is also extremely pleasant. Theyre about 45 minute drive for me but i still go there instead of the Petsmart or Petsense thats 15 minutes from me.

When I came in, employees didnt have much knowledge on the products. I was in there buying dog treats for a dog. I have no experience in buying stuff for dogs and I asked for help but they didnt know a thing.

Typical Petco store. Is clean and organized inside, but smaller than PetSmart, bigger than Pet Supermarket.
