I had my wife drop my pup off at the Dorchester road location today to get his summer cut. Absolutely rude employees with no experience or know how with dogs period. First off lets explain my dog to everyone. 6 year old ladradoodle. Very VERY well trained. Potty trained. Attitude trained, knows tricks. Deals with 2 5 yr olds daily. Playing, climbing, pulling, hugs and kisses. Also lives with ano there dog, a chihuahua mixed. Always goes to Dog parks, and loves being around other pets and people. My pup its not aggressive n any way shape or form. Now what this place wants to tell me. "We cant groom ur dog bc we washed hIm and when trying to blow-dry him he was nipping at the blow dryer and nipping and me and 2 other employees. So we cant dry him and he cant be cut." Immediately I start laughing first. Then to get real. "He might not like the dryer but he would nip at any of yall, can u just muzzle him for the dryer and then cut him." He replied "I tried muzzling him and he nipped at me so we cant cut him. " I laugh again "can my wife muzzle him, and then yall can dry him? " he answers " he can only be in a muzzle 20 minutes and it will take longer than that to dry him." At this point I get whats going on. "If u dont wanna cut my dog, just tell me and Ill take him somewhere else." Now. After I got home from work. I let my wife blow-dry him for 10 minutes. Face, body, but, belly, ears, everywhere. U can tell he dont like it, just like that statue stance like taking a bath. But aggressive? No way no how. And to say that about my dog is very offensive. And the fact of all the lies to get out of cutting him after, when Im trying to find a way to deal with the problem!!!!! Simply bad business. They just want the simple 5 minute cuts to overcharge for and shove all others away. Nobody should give these people the time of day.

Wonderful store, very clean, owners are very nice people! The employees are always friendly! Grooming is delightful, they always do a great job! Highly suggest this business! Dont let one bad apple ruin your chances of finding out how awesome this place is! Check it out! See for yourself!

My go to for pet supplies. We have 6 pets. 4 different types of animals. They dont carry a couple of items I wish they did like canned meal worms but the staff is really nice and place is clean. Overall I definitely recommend.

Excellent prices and a very helpful staff make this my go to store for all my pet supplies. I have switched my dogs to a much better food and buy them healthier treats now that I know where to get them at a reasonable price.

They used to sell live rats and they used to be the perfect place to get them. Now they only sell frozen. They kinda lost my business. My snake needs to eat. Maybe if they sell live again Ill come back

Our dog is not always cooperative. the friendly and professional way they groomed him made him not want to leave. he looks great and feels much better,we will be back in 2 months. thanks so much.

Grooming lady had an attitude and stopped grooming our dog to work on another dog without telling us. Grooming department definitely doesnt care about the animals or the customers.

The floors are too slippery for a dog to walk on. My boy slipped and did a split. Not good for the hips at all. Im freaking out since now he is having trouble walking.
