Well..Ive been searching for a Chevy Equinox for some time now. I finally see what looks like a GREAT DEAL! So I proceed with my application with Ben Steagall..a sales person there. Ben was very useful with getting my information processed. He calls me back and says Ive been approved. Great!! I go the next day..with all the documentation asked for and down payment. Well..as we proceed to get everything taken care of. Ben comes back and tells me that I have to NOW bring in 2 years of tax returns because Im a 1099 employee. Ok? So I go and get the returns and fax them to Ben within an hour. So..I wait..Ben calls me back later that day and says that it hasnt been approved yet. I say ok? Well let me know. I heard nothing back the rest of the day. The NEXT day..I still havent heard back from Ben? I call..Ben is off for the day. Ok?? So they transfer me to some other sales person who doesnt answer. So i go a WHOLE DAY with no response from anyone. Well, I get up this morning and I have an EMAIL from Ben telling me he was off yesterday and looked as though while he was off the car I had applied for and was awaiting approval had been sold? Really?? How could this happen? Wouldnt the smart thing to do is to take the car that was awaiting approval off the sales lot while awaiting approval? Im so disgusted with the Customer Service that Ive received that I emailed Ben back and told him just to shred all my information that I took the time to get together to purchase this car. Experiences like this is what makes people so skeptical about purchasing a car. After more thought, I decide to call and ask for the manager, Kevin, who I left a vm for and has yet to receive a return call from. Im trying not go above his head with my complaint...But looks like thats the next move. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I RECEIVED HERE. CANT LET ONE BAD APPLE SPOIL THE BUNCH!!

Outrageously awful. Stereotypical shifty car lot. Talked to internet sales after waiting two days for someone to respond to my online application and explained to the guy that I was rebuilding my credit, had no cosigner and my trade was in the shop ( could not in fact be safely driven ). He got my online app , said I was approved and told me to tow my other car in next door to get more out of my trade. ( Big Mistake ). I had my car towed next door , had my kid with me mind you, and with it stopping and stalling drove it onto the lot. Was met by a sales lady that told me the person that I had spoke to went to the ER. They left us for a bit and came back asking for money down & a co signer. I had to tell them again ( three times to be exact) I did not have those just my trade in. Was told they could not help me, though the sales lady tried to steer me to HER BROTHERS buy here pay here lot down Asheville Hwy. This after she called me out for getting a bit "sharp" with her when they started all this crap ! Did I yell no, I was a bit annoyed understandably. Told me I would have to be nicer to the place she was sending me to to get help. Did not even offer us a ride home and I had to pay out of pocket to tow my trade back to the shop. Had to also pay for a freaking taxi back home , so they cost me 150.00 in total. Please dont go here. Go to Kia of Greer, they came and got me , got me pre approved on a new car with a decent monthly payment and the terms I needed . Picked up my trade in from the mechanic and treated me like they wanted my business and have top notch customer service !

I discussed a given truck at length with the sales people for over four days. This was supposed to be a new truck with 106 miles on it. This was the number that was listed on autotrader, represented by its sales staff and sales management. It came out that the car had been in a car show when I pressed about the mileage. THEY EVEN TOLD MY BANK THAT THE MILEAGE was 106 miles. I got the loan set up, loaded up my wife, two kids and two dogs in our minivan and proceeded to drive 175 miles on good faith to buy this truck. I get there and am inspecting the truck and all looks good. I open the door and see that the paint from the door interior rail is worn off. This raised concerns. I said, that is odd for a truck with only 100 miles on it. At this time they say, it has 469 miles on it! Really! Might not seem like much, but when you drive 175 miles to pay $53,000 for a NEW TRUCK it is a lot of miles. Now I sit down with the GM of the dealership and he discloses that the truck might have been used in a couple of parades! He then says that the going rate is 31 cents a mile and that he would round up to $250 dollars off! I had lost all trust in these buffoons at this point and realized I had no idea what was up with this truck and that I had been lied to for 4 days and been ripped off a new years eve with my family. I would drive 200 miles and spend more not to do business with these folks. Very untrustworthy! The GM actually said that a car could have 5900 miles on it and still be new! Nice job! Stay away from these folks, they are poison!

On 11/9/2016, my husband and I received a Happy Anniversary email from Robert Wells, General Manager, because we had purchased a truck several years ago from Chevrolet of Spartanburg. It actually prompted me to check out their inventory online and my husband and I stopped by the dealership to look at a car we found listed there. We were very interested in looking at and possibly purchasing it. However, once we arrived at the dealership we were told that just because its on the Chevrolet of Spartanburg website doesnt mean its actually in Spartanburg...or even the state. The girl helping us was very nice and told us that it could be brought up to look at even though its only listed for $2950. That turned out to not be true. After her asking "management" 2 different times, she came back saying that the only way they would have the car brought up is if we purchased it first. I realize that this is not an expensive car at all...its actually pretty cheap. However, I feel you should have all of your sales people trained to know that if something is showing in your inventory but is not actually on your lot and is a cash only sale it must be purchased sight unseen...no test driving...no looking at it...nothing. Thats a little ridiculous. We could have saved our time and yours by finding out up front that we had to buy the car first just to see it later. I hope you have a wonderful day and happy sales to you all! You wont have to worry about us taking up your time for such a small sale.
