Wonderful selection, only youre buying mostly used books for a not-so-used price... When I removed their own price stickers from the book that I had bought I noticed that they had only taken a dollar or two off the price of books that had visible wear. So, if youre looking for something specific, youre better off ordering it off Amazon. If youre looking for a nice browsing selection in a small local bookstore, the place is great. All of the staff is very friendly except for then man behind the counter who is borderline rude. You get the feeling that youre inconveniencing simply by being there. Forget trying to ask him a question! Hell look at you like you just gave him the finger! I try my best to only converse with the other lovely staff who are always smiling and ready to help.

I have to say, Im shocked to see some of these reviews! lol! This bookstore is a wonderful part of Rock Hill. My family has been shopping here for years. The trade policy is good for our family. Its not easy to understand until youve done it a couple of times, but its fair and makes sense if you are a regular shopper. Ive never used them for online shopping since we are right here in town, but they are a favorite stop for us whenever we are near Anderson Road. We like giving our money to local, AMERICAN-owned businesses, so its a pleasure to shop at the BooKnack and know that Im supporting an independent business. (Plus they have clean bathrooms! lol!)

I am not impressed by this bookstore. Their books are too expensive and their selection is okay, but not great. For a used bookstore, many of their books are new and the price reflects it. A few months ago I brought books to sell to them and received store credit. I visited today looking for a few books to use the credit on and can now only put the credit towards about 1% of the books in their store, and even then can only put my credit towards 50% of the purchase. I basically donated my books to the store with rude employees and overpriced books. Im disappointed and will look for another bookstore to purchase from.

This is ONE SORRY OUTFIT.. They claim they use USPS for mailing, which does NOT charge for undeliverable packages.. Instead they use DHL which cannot deliver to a physical address that is different from data based mailing address. I suspect they never even shipped it when the address glitch came up. Instead they charged a restocking and returning fee that nearly ate up the entire original order. Stay clear of this bunch of con-artist. Especially Deanna..

This is a real book shop. They have a wide selwcrion of new and used books at great prices and when you get tied of your book you can take it there for credit on future purchases. The staff are a pleasure in everyday. Some of them are skilled craftsmen who sell there wares insight. The big bookstores and amazon cannot give the you the experience of this shop. I love it.

This place is awful. They have shameful business practices and the customer service rep named Deanna is about as low, petty, mean-spirited and incompetent as a person can get. She is a grave liability to this company, though the company policies are grotesque, so I guess they are a good match. Take your business elsewhere.

Ordered book "Spiral slicer vegetable recipes" by Sarah Sparrow.Received very poor gray/black photocopy of the book, only the cover is correct in color.Before ordering I checked the book on line and I saw all pages and pictures in the book in color, thats was what I was expecting.Never order from BooKnack again!!!

It is always a treat for me to get to shop at BooKnack!! Its a great place to find your next good read, especially when its a new author, and you are unsure if you will be a fan. You get discounts off of cover prices on new books also, so why pay retail prices?? Stick with the Locals, they will treat you right!

A lovely bookstore. Ive been going here for eight years now and have always had great customer service. Ive brought in countless book and love their credit policy. Their prices are fair and though they dont always have a book that Im looking for they will order it in if asked.

Whats the point of buying a used book thats only $4.00 cheaper than a brand new, unused one? Wouldnt recommend buying used books here.
