When I tell you that your first and only stop looking for a tattoo while in Myrtle Beach is Myrtle Beach Ink. I have a total of 10 tattoos and this is overall the best tattoo experience ever!!!! Let me begin by saying that as soon as we walked in the shop the welcome feeling received from the owner April is beyond words. She assisted with the whole process of setting up our appt the next day, getting the right tattoo artist to implement the vision that we wanted. Next day, we walked in for our appt and James, our tattoo artist was ready for us with his custom drawing for my sons first tattoo. When I tell you that the artistry was phenomenal...that would be an understatement. He completed my sons 1/2 sleeve in 2 hours and 15 min, my tattoo was done within an hour, and my husbands was done in 45 min. He is very fast, articulate, welcoming, and personable. I didnt try anyone else in the shop so the only person I can recommend is James. Hands down he is great. I am so glad that I walked in this shop because the first place we went to in the same shopping center gave me the worst feeling ever. Dont make the same mistake...head straight to Myrtle Beach Ink and ask for James!!! PS...for the reviews about them not being kid friendly...well that is so far from the truth. Let me say...both of my kids waited in the waiting area with no problems. They even got their own tattoos (stick ons of course).

You have plenty to choose from with 10 tattoo shops all within a couple hundred feet of each other in this location. I recommend going to a few with your tattoo idea like I did and choose the artist who seems the most interested. I stopped in the 2 highest rated and most reviewed shops before Myrtle Beach Ink. The first one just wanted to schedule an appointment, take my money, kick me out the door, and move on to the next person in line without me talking to anyone but the receptionist. The next one (Aces High) was real friendly and seemed like great artists too, but I ended up choosing Myrtle Beach Ink because Jessica was really helpful with my tattoo idea. I pulled up a picture on my phone and she had it worked up in Photoshop exactly how I wanted in under 5 minutes. Jessica gave me exactly what I wanted and my flying pig tattoo looks great!

Very disapointing went in for a walkin my husband and two children noone said they werent allowed in the lobby, my quote of my coin size tattoo was 150 not including tip i was fine with it, while the guy went to set up the tattoo another family came in with kids that womans tattoo quote was 250 not including tip and she was fine with it, some guy named james didnt like the fact we were family with kids and he made a rude comment saying "its kids day" and he went to the back to complain , then the guy helping me said children cant be here so the second family left , i was about to stay when he said he lost my paper work , clearly they dont want our buisness. I left aswell.

This is a great tattoo studio! It was super clean, the people were very freindly and knowledgeable, and I left with an amazing tattoo. I will definitely be coming back for my next one, and would recommend this place to all my friends and family! Thanks!!!! 2-7-12...I wanted to write another review, but I wont let me so I will just add on to this one. I got tattooed in November and I just got another tattoo yesterday! This place is so great! April is the best, she remembered me and gave me a really good price since I was a return customer. I have been tattooed now by Bob and Steve and they are both great!!!

My best friends and I went to get our first tattoos last night, all wanting white ink, and one of us wanting a finger tattoo. We went to 6 different shops, all turning us down, because they didnt do finger tattoos or white ink. Myrtle Beach Ink thankfully would do both, the lady helped us pick exactly what we had in mind, and we didnt have to wait long at all. Both the artist were great and made us feel comfortable. I will also note that is a place where you can feel comfortable bringing your kids, because the environment is very family friendly. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

This tattoo shop is awesome!!! I was a tourist from Boston and walked in so me and my best friend could get Bestie Tats. The price was extremely cheap for being a tourist hot spot. The front office clerk is literally the nicest and helped us put our idea into a design. Her dog is also very cute! Our tattoo artist Ceaser did a phenomenal job. We both got a Lisianthus flower and the detail was amazing. The shop is also extremely clean and Ceaser opens the needle packages right in front of you. If you would like a last minute vacation tattoo this is the place.

This shop is a hidden gem! I did research before I went down to the strip mall of tattoo shops. I visited a few of the other shops that I had looked up but Myrtle Beach Ink stood out from them from the minute I walked in the door. Not only could I smell the cleanliness, I noticed how organized and neat the shop was. The staff helped me make the final decisions on my tattoo, which turned out better than expected because of their suggestions!! They have a customer for life now!

From start to finish this was a great experience. Inside the place is clean and very well decorated. The owner made me feel very welcome and gave me some good pointers on size and placement of my design. Cesar really brought my design to life. The tattoo on my foot was definitely my most painful but he kept me laughing to keep my mind off of it. I couldnt be happier with my experience or my tattoo! Thank you guys so much!

Best tattoo shop on Seaboard! The people are friendly and very helpful, and its so clean! Ive gone to Myrtle Beach Ink for all 3 of my tattoos and cant imagine going anywhere else. The prices are super reasonable too. If youre looking for a friendly atmosphere, a knowledgeable staff, and a high quality tattoo done in a reasonable time, then Myrtle Beach Ink is the only place to go.

I have not gotten a tattoo for years but wanted a 2nd one on my ankle. Bob was great! The shop is clean and professional. They offer excellent customer service and even helped direct me on where to go to get a piercing. I love my new tattoo and will use them again if I decide to get another one! By the way their prices are reasonable as well.
