The cockroaches I saw behind the ice cream counter were disheartening. So was watching an employee scrape moldy cheese off the top of some shredded cheese topping for hot dogs, and continuing to use the rest. Please keep in mind that there is no DHEC Letter Grade on this establishment. I wouldnt let my kids eat here and neither should anyone else.

My wife and I stopped here to look around and get a milkshake at the old style ice cream counter in the back. One of the best milkshakes Ive had in a while. Very fun atmosphere as well! Definitely worth stopping in and taking a look around, be sure to treat yourself to a milkshake as well!

You dont see this kind of shop everyday. It reminded me as a cross between the NY Candy Store and the now defunct Five and Dime. Nope, you cant find a place like it. You want retro, they got retro. The odd, the eerie, the unusual, the Bacon flavored soda. Yeps.

Liked that it was retro, had RC cola and of course moon pies galore. Had plenty of old stuff to look at. Even had a giant moon at the back of the store you can take your photo with. Cheesy yes, but great for tourists.
