My husband called and placed a Mother’s Day order. He told her it was my first Mother’s Day and she told him she “would take good care of him.” When the flowers arrived (the Friday before Mothers Day which was on a Sunday) each rose had several petals pulled off, the tops were already turning brown and most what looked like knife cuts on the flowers. The lilies were already browning at the edges. The lilies were dead by the next day. The roses didn’t even make it until Mother’s Day. They all died the night before. We tried calling this store right away to have this corrected. She didn’t answer her phone for 2 WEEKS. 2 weeks later when my husband finally got her on the phone she said she had delivered those flowers personally and that they were fresh (which is not true, the owner did not deliver the flowers). Only after my husband told her we had pictures did she offer to “correct” the situation. She said she would make another small arrangement and leave them outside for us to pick up (that is not professional, leaving flowers outside in the hot sun). When we went to pick up the flowers she did create a new arrangement but not with roses or even lilies. She gave me some daisies and carnations. She had my daughter’s name on the card (spelled wrong) instead of even just my last name. I decided to call her and speak with her personally. Fair warning for others who try and use her…her "business" is in a house that is also a private residence. Her “store” number goes to her cell phone. She doesnt answer the phone "Sea Island Flowers" just "hello." She blamed my husband for calling at the “last minute” and buying a “cheap arrangement”. Even though she told him on the phone she would take "good" care of him. If she was busy or didn’t have enough flowers she should have just told him that. As for him buying a cheap arrangement he spent way more than I did on my families flowers that all lasted 2 weeks from the day they were delivered. Either way my flowers didn’t last until Mother’s Day (which was two days past the day they were delivered). It took us 2 weeks to get her on the phone (my husband had to use the private work line to get her to finally answer). The long and short of it is that my husband spent a lot of money on some carnations and daisies. Nothing that cost any money made it fresh to me. She was rude and hung up on me while I was speaking with her. Dont waste your money here. You will regret it and feel as if you were taken.

This review has recently been deleted but i will repost every time!! My friend is a military wife who is stationed here in Beaufort. While her husband was on orders out of state he wanted to send her flowers for "Sweetest Day". So he contacted 1-800-FLOWERS to have Flowers, a teddy bear and candy delivered to her at work on Friday. The florist contacted her at work on Wednesday informing her she had a delivery for her and to come out side of her office to get them. She of course called her husband to show her gratitude. Her husband then informed her they were not supposed to arrive until Friday and called 1-800-FLOWERS to inform them of the error. 1-800-FLOWERS apologized for the error and offered to refund the purchased amount and because of the inconvenience the flowers were free of charge. A few hours later she received a phone call on the office phone from Sea Island Flowers stating the order was cancelled by her husband and therefore she was coming to repo them. Out of confusion she tried contacting her husband but to no avail. To keep from embarrassment she contacted Sea Island Flowers and offered to return them after work and questioned the cancelled order. Sea Island Flowers stated it was an error on the delivery date that they delivered them to soon and Sea Island Flowers was no longer getting paid. Therefore she could not allow her to keep the arrangement. She stated she was already pulling into the parking lot to reclaim them and for her to bring them to her vehicle. My friend met the delivery lady outside the office and placed the items on her hood and informed them that this was horrible customer service because of THEIR error. As she returned to work the delivery lady yelled in the parking lot "Who’s your boss..." (Keeping in mind this is a personal issue, not work related) Her husband finally returned her call explaining that he did NOT cancel the order, that 1-800-FLOWERS refunded the purchase amount for the delivery error. He talked to 1-800-FLOWERS and they were appalled at the situation. 1-800-FLOWERS then called the office to apologize tremendously for the flowers being repossessed and the behavior of the business. They assured her that a "Bigger better order" would arrived free of charge to her Friday. She appreciated 1-800-FLOWERS calling and rectifying the situation since the experience was very upsetting

If I could give this a half of a star I would. I believe this is the place that my dad ordered flowers for me, for my birthday, and the delivery lady was rude as hell. She refused to deliver to the correct address and then preceded to only ask if I wanted to cancel the order or pick them up, but refused to tell me what company it was, or where they were even located. I DO NOT recommend using these people, unless you want service that is WAY below par and a delivery person who needs customer service training. Seriously, youre supposed to be delivering something beautiful to someone on a special day, but with that attitude she just ruins special days.

So disappointed in the arrangement that was delivered to my mother for her birthday today! Im not local so I ordered off of the website. The arrangement ordered and the arrangement received look NOTHING alike!! I feel duped! I have doubts an actual floral designer made the arrangement. I am certain that I would have been happier having a family member purchase an arrangement from Publix and delivering them to her for me. Of course, my mother was tickled to receive flowers on her birthday and has no idea what I had wanted her to receive. But Im not happy and will never order from Sea Island Flowers again!

We ordered on line through their website. A nice basket with potted flowers for a client... We get a picture of it (from the client) and its not even close to the picture online! A clear basic vase with so-so cut flowers. Complete disappointment and will not be using them again. We have called, left voice mails, and have never received correspondence back. Not impressed. I would recommend Carolina Floral Design, we have used them prior and they were exactly opposite- expected product and great customer service. Sorry Sea Island Flowers, I dont usually leave negative reviews but was very disappointed.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. My mothers day order never arrived! I placed the order the Tuesday before for a Saturday delivery and not only did my flower NEVER arrive, I never received any sort of notification of a delay or anything. Now its the Monday after Mothers Day and I have called at least 6 times and left a few voicemails and no one has gotten back to me. This place is a horribly run business and you really really just do not want to deal with them.
