Deli is painfully slow more times than not. Today was a noteable experience, as when I got to the counter I took a number, 99 and they were on 93. I was one of three people waiting to be helped by the 5 workers who were "working." One of the other customers waiting commented that shed been waiting for a while to one of the employees named Louise. Louise proceeded to yell at the customer screaming, "YOURE RUDE!" Raising her voice. The customer the said that she was going to complain to a manager, and how theres many employees working however only one customer being helped and Louise replied that "YOU DONT KNOW WHAT WERE DOING!!" Finally the customer gave up and walked away. I was so appalled by this experience that I had to write a review, and I was just observing. Try to avoid the deli if possible, and if not hope Louise isnt the one to help you--- but by the sound of it, she has zero desire to help anyone and shouldnt be in customer service.

This is my favorite Giant, I prefer it over the one I live close to so I make the extra 10 min drive. Clean and very well organized especially during the holidays, they usually have a section of everything you need for a Thanksgiving meal etc. in one place for easy shopping. Salad bar is very fresh and well stocked. If you go in the morning you get great deals in the bakery section for items baked the previous day, you can get a dozen of doughnuts for only $2.50.

My husband and I usually shop here , but after the poor customer service we received at the deli today we are sure not to come back. The deli clerk kept us waiting 45 minutes before even acknowledging us with a hello. She the had an attitude and through our deli meat onto the counter when she was done serving us. I was appalled! We spoke to the manager on duty, he said that he would handle the situation.

Usually my visit at Giants is great, but not today. I handed my Giants rewards card to the cashier and she swiped it and instead of handing it back to me, she threw on the counter. I gave her a "look" and she said "what"? I told her I didnt appreciate that. Of course, there was no apology. Thats not good customer service.

Just opened a beer garden. Not the best mix 6 selection but good 6pack and 12pack selections. Store is open 24hrs everyday with the exception of major holidays (thanksgiving and Christmas). One of the better chances of finding hard to come by ingredients in the york area at a major chain.

Store has the worst deli, when it comes to service, you draw a number and then you watch the deli employees take there time, talk to other deli employees, leaving the customer standing and waiting,, What happened to top service to the customer, THIS OCCURS ALL THE TIME.

Produce is a bit on the expensive side but meat prices are good and usually run sales on meat. Has a salad bar, deli, seafood counter, pharmacy, and beer garden. Wide selection of prepaired foods if youre looking to grab something for lunch.

I Ordered graduation cakes half sht. and was disappointed. It did not look like the Baker even tried the decoration was so plain. Not ordering cake from there again. Youre better off just picking one from the window. Waste of money.

Shop there all the time. Didnt know the deli doesnt open till 8am. Clerk made a very loud announcement that the deli doesnt open till 8am 3 times. It was 7:45am. Cmon 15 minutes Im sure she was on the clock.
