Glen, Beth, and the rest of the crew here are awesome. Theyre crazy-interested in getting the right bike for the right person; Im very, very tall, and Glen made sure not to sell me something that wasnt going to fit. Ive had him redo my handlebars once, and he gave me a wide variety of new and used options, while steering me away from the more expensive stuff, as it didnt make sense on my bike (or for how I ride). They dont sell low-end; if you have a bike you picked up at Target or Walmart, theres not much they can do, and Id probably try Kraynicks in Garfield. Big Bang is glad to chat with folks in the low/middle price range, probably $300 and up, both to sell and repair. Theyre very well prepared to chat about road bikes in the $1000+ range, and have a ton of racing and cyclocross bikes in stock at all times. Said another way; they offered to sell me a $20 seat for my bike, looked nice and cushy. They had nicer options (used) for not much more money. Looking around, they also had $200+ saddles from Italy and England, which werent what I was looking for. They seem to be really interested in the right stuff to match how a person rides, and not so interested in hurrying anyone. One caveat; if theres someone there before you, theyre not interested in hurrying them, either. :-)

Ive got to be honest, I dont think Ive ever been as blown away by customer service as I was here. I went in about half an hour before closing, was not rushed at all. I basically just walked in and said I was interested in a road bike but knew very little about them (Im a MTBr). I was helped by Glenn, who, within two minutes, had me sitting on a bike, measuring me and adjusting things, and explaining the physics behind positioning and angles and the difference between the male and female physique on a road bike. At no point did he try to upsell anything (in fact, he didnt even ask me about a budget). He just gave me a few things to think about before I invest in something new. He was very obviously focused on getting me the product that will give me the most efficiency and power for my needs. So very impressed...this is absolutely where I will be buying my bike.

Great service, willing to answer tons of ?s after ? without making me feel dumb. The price on my dogma was over 1k dollars cheaper in the same combo than online companies! On high end bikes you cant beat there prices! if some parts here and there or wheel sets are a bit more money, id pay just for the service, however im sure they could either meet or beat the price on the product! there always super busy from 5 pm on, but always stay late if need be just to wrap things up! Im only able to get there later in the day. I will buy my next bike and my next after from Big Bang, i have dealt every shop in the area and they are the only shop that respects any buyer weather your buying a 500 dollar bike or a 10k dollar bike!

Forget for a moment all the pieces of art (also known as bikes) youll find there: Pinarello, Colnago, Look, Wilier, Merckx -- storied brands you dont easily find anywhere else around here. What sets BB apart for me is Glen, who spent hours with me talking about bikes, getting me the right fit, understanding the kind of riding I do, really wanting me to find the right bike so I could have fun on the road. It would be easy for this kind of high-end shop to come across as intimidating, but Glen makes it inviting, humble and comfortable. (Even though Im sure he could absolutely punish me, you and most everyone else on a group ride!)

Awesome bike shop if you are looking for higher end bikes. The staff is really friendly, patient and knowledgable and take the time to make sure you are getting what you want. They have really great selection of bikes and work with you to get it set up and fitted right. You have to be willing to be patient because they spend so much time with each customer that if there are a lot of people there you might have to wait a little. But the wait is well worth it for the service they provide and the products they carry. I cant imagine buying a bike anywhere else.

Glen helped me the first time I went in just to look. He wasnt pushy and was really helpful in explaining what I would probably need since this was my first road bike. They let me ride a Trek hybrid and a Scott road bike outside to see which was more comfortable. The next time I came in to actually buy, I ended up going with a Scott Speedster S40. They were super helpful in answering my questions and the price I paid was competitive with prices I found online for that same bike. Great experience and would definitely recommend to others!

Ive been to more than half a dozen bike shops in the area and this is the only one I go back to. Glenn is an expert on all things bike related, and can solve any pain that you may be having on the bike. You cant find this type of knowledge anywhere else. Everyone always thinks they only carry expensive bikes (which they do), but Ive gotten my friends riding entry level bikes from them as well. Their mechanics are excellent people too, the bike is always returned looking new every time. Cant say enough good things about this shop.

Glenn and crew built a custom Wilier with Campy Chorus 11 for me a few years ago and I still look forward to getting out on the bike as often as weather permits. This bike is simply the best machine that I could have asked for when looking for a new bike at my level of riding and budget. Glenn worked with me to determine sizing and components and made it happen. Now that I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan one regret I have for moving away is Glenn and team are the only ones I would trust to work on my bikes.

Had the best bike shopping / buying experience here. I am a mother of a toddler, and at no point did they make me feel awkward about the fact that it was 3 years since I sat on a bicycle, even though they carry some very high-end gear for the bike enthusiast. They focus on fitting you immediately, so any test rides are done with a good fitting bike. Cant say enough about my positive experience with Glenn and Samson. Great service, no attitude.

The owner and the entire staff was truly a pleasure to work with. We told them our budget and they were respectful and accommodating. They beat competitors prices and included significant discounts to keep us in budget. From including blue bike tires and pedals(free of charge!) to spending ample time with us while we made our decisions, this company proved their worth and earned two loyal customers. Thankful for such a positive experience!

Had a great experience with a new road bike purchase at BBB. The staff showed plenty of patience letting me road test numerous bikes. Even after I had pretty much made up my mind on a particular road bike, they insisted that I try a couple more bikes just to be sure I picked the right bike. After the sale, the staff put a lot of effort into fitting the bike for me. Also got a great deal on the bike. Cant ask for more.
