I have never written a review for a car dealership. However my experience at Faulkner was exceptional. I purchased a vehicle on 7/31/14 after several weeks of looking for a specific vehicle. I initially was contacted by Stephanie G regarding my vehicle purchase after submitting an online inquiry. Stephanie was very professional and wanted to find out exactly what I was looking for in a vehicle. She did not pressure me to come into the dealership, but rather focused on customer service and determining what I was looking for. (Of note other dealerships were just concerned with me getting into the door, not determining if they even had a vehicle I was interested in.) I was then put in contact with Eric K a salesperson. Eric greeted me when I entered the dealership and showed me around the vehicle. However Eric again was very professional and did not try and pressure a sale. He even sent me a You Tube video of the vehicle prior to my arrival to the dealership! Eric worked diligently to get the vehicle and equipment combination I was looking for. However I determined while there I wanted something a little different than I initially thought. He took the change in stride and brought the new requirement to the Sales Manager. Enter Ray, obviously the Sales Manager. Ray does a great job with his team and it shows! He also was very professional and did not try to force a sale. We realized the vehicle I wanted was not on his lot, but he offered to find it and still make me a deal that was fair. I informed him that I was in contact with several other dealers and he said he would be their prices! I left the dealership with Ray looking for the vehicle and equipment combination I wanted. This is important because in my experience car dealers do no want you to leave, especially when they know you are ready to purchase! However Ray did not try to make a car on his expansive lot fit me, but rather find the car that I wanted! He only asked that I give him a day or so to try and locate the vehicle. Ray called me later that evening and told me he located the vehicle and he would call with appointment to come in when the vehicle arrived. As promised he called a couple days later with my vehicle now in his inventory and with a phenomenal deal! I scheduled to go in a couple days later to complete the purchase. I went in and met with Mark S Finance Manager that handled all of the necessary paperwork in a thorough and speedy manner. Mark was again another example of stellar customer service! My experience was so positive that I will be returning with family and friends to purchase vehicles in the future!! I have purchased several new vehicles in my life and have not had such a positive experience ever! Everyone I encountered was genuinely interested in providing excellent customer service above all else!! If you are looking for a new Chevrolet product go see the team at Faulkner Ciocca Chevrolet!!

9/3/2010 Dear charlie, Joe Faulkner and Gregg Ciocca asked me to respond to your letters. The first they became aware of your situation was the receipt of your Better Business Bureau complaint. I have enclosed a copy of the response we made to that complaint. This fairly well sums up our position. You were not contacted by phone after that, because your issue had already been addressed by phone and you had moved on to a written complaint to the BBB which requires a written response. As you have already pursued “alternative options” we feel the best approach is to respond again in writing. We are sorry that you have had a problem with your vehicle. It is unfortunate that this occurred after the warranty period and doubly unfortunate that it has happened in Vermont. If you had the vehicle in our shop, we would perform a proper diagnosis and do what we could to keep your cost down. For instance: Our labor guides show that the replacement (assuming that is what is needed) of the engine in your vehicle should take 13.4 hours as opposed to the 25 you are being told. Also, the quoted price for the engine appears to be for a remanufactured engine. You could see considerable savings by installing a used engine in your used vehicle. We have found an engine with 34,000 miles that would include a one year warranty, at a cost of under $2,600.00. As it is, you are asking us to rely on the reports from two different shops which have different versions of the issue and cost estimates roughly double what they could be, assuming the worst case. This brings serious questions as to the validity of the diagnosis you are relaying. In fact, your most recent letter now describes what was originally reported as “rod bearings went” as “engine bearings seized” both of which you attribute to “oil levels low”. However, when Bill Lauer spoke to Dusty, he was informed that the main bearings were fine and the oil level was fine. We have no doubt that you are being told that there is something seriously wrong with your vehicle. We also believe that there IS something wrong with your vehicle; we are just not sure what. I understand that it would be expensive to get your vehicle back here, but if you would like, I can get you a quote for transport. We will not be able to cover the cost of the repairs, but if your goal is to remedy the situation at the lowest cost to you, this could well be your answer. I await your response. (As of 9/15/2010 there has been no response from "Charlie")

Seems like evertime i go in here i have some type of an issue. Brought my car in for a busted coolant hose. They replaced the wrong one dispite me visually showing them the hole. Then when they fixed the right one, they broke my air filter off (showing the technitian cut corners and instead of removing the intake assembly, he just pushed it out of the way) Now today, (monday) i drop my car off at 8:30 am and yet again, physically show them the damage to my intake manifold. I made the appointment on Saturday and told the parts department to make sure there was an intake manifold ready to go here. Its now almost 3 pm and theyve been doing nothing all this time or they lied. They said they were just talking about my car having a hole drilled into the manifold (it was a thottle body spacer) and couldnt replace it because of that. Once that had been sorted out, he then said that the only reason it hasnt been worked on was because they were waiting on the part. Thats pretty funny that one second he was just under the hood and the next hes been waiting on a part that i was told would be waiting. My best to those of you in this company who care about the customer but it seems as though because my car has modifications, i get the run around every time i come here. For those of you with camaros with and intake and exhaust or maybe a silverado with an exhaust, id recommend going elsewhere, otherwise, youll get the run around and have to sit around doing nothing all day because they have your car/truck. Honestly the biggest reason im so upset is because i make my appointments early in the morning to prevent me from not having any transportation all day and every time, they turn a small repair into a huge deal requiring more time than it should.
