I was shopping today at your local k-mart. Located in Pittston on 315 There young man who was checking us out, kept sneezing into his hand. I asked if he had sanitizer he thought it was for me, but I actually wanted him to use it. He started scanning my items picking up my items with the hand that he was sneezing into. I refused allow him to continue and never made my purchase. This my sound petty, but I am sick and due to treatments I have a low white cell count and can not afford the opportunity of getting sick. Cold and Flue season are around the bend. Why not supply your cashiers with sanitizer ?? This is an unsafe practice and and if feel it should be corrected. Until so I will shop Walmart and tell others to shop there too, this is unfair to the public, young children and seniors and those that are sick like my self. Your cashiers are at rick of the customers too Normally I like K-mart but today was unacceptable

K-Mart Pittston, has discriminated against me, I am doing what I need to do. Monday evening the 21st of November I went to cash a personal check for 150.00. had my ID AND my k Mart rewards card needed. The girl at customer service. Said yes they cash personal checks when I had asked her, she asked how much, I told her,, WHY did she say our check reader does not read handwritten personal checks.. guess because I am a Woman of Color... but we will see..... NOT ACCEPTABLE..

I prefer to shop here instead of Walmart up the road. The prices are slightly higher, but I rarely ever have to stand in line for more than a couple minutes. Walmart is about a 100 more busy than Kmart, yet somehow Kmart seems to have twice as many register open . They care about their customers and realize people dont like to wait in line for a half hour.

For some reason, putting clearance tags that are 80 cents on any item will get any item for 80 cents. 5 stars for saving 60 dollars, one star off for the store being stupid enough to allow it.

Nice place to shop, clean, good sales, not always jammed with people, some items you think you would be able to get there they dont always carry, or not stocked. Call first.

Its a standard understaffed Kmart the employees look like theyve all had a rough day and the store looks a little dingy like it could do with a good cleaning.

Prices are descent. Very hard to find help. It was a thriving place at one time. I feel Kmart is struggling once Walmart came to our area.

Does have different varieties to check out, but over priced in plus size clothes, and very little to choose from.
