First time there today!!! Everything is so clean. And it didnt smell like a dirty closet!! I bought my daughter a set of jammies for the winter and it so happened that I needed to put my daughter in something and had no spare clothes because she got soaked with water.. For some reason I had no qualms putting the jammies on her they smelled cleaned, looked clean.. I know its not in good taste to do that especially with bedbug epidemic in Scranton but I was all over that store and it didnt seem bedbugs would be a problem.. Thanks for the jammies!!

I have been working for the Goodwill since October 14th of 2012. I am still there (April 11th of 2014). The employees and management are great to work with. The environment for shoppers is more than up to par. Clean, fresh, and knows what people want. When other want to know the best place to find something cheap, clean, and in working condition, I recommend Goodwill Industries Of Northeast PA!

BE AWARE OF THE DRESSING ROOMS!!! Once out of the two dressing rooms doors were put upside down making it viable to see the inside while you are changing. Literally when you walk by you can see others butt naked inside. When i confronted the main checkout lady who was also rude about the whole situation she seemed like she already knew about it. Disgusting

I do enjoy shopping at the goodwill. I just started but they have some really cool unique stuff for super cheap. They have friendly staff who ate helpfull. The only thing I would change if I could is there hours I do wish they were opened later because there are alot of shoppers still browsing when its closing time which today(sunday) I beleive was at 5pm.

I dislike people who crowd in on Sundays to buy every item for 49¢ & then resell for profit on eBay. I wish people would just buy what they can wear. Avoid Sunday madness there. Unless you enjoy people running you down with shopping carts.

The furniture is extremely overpriced for a place where its items are donated. I saw one irem for 500 and another for 150. I expected lower prices . Id rather go to a furniture store and buy the items new
