I had the store located on Babcock Blvd replace the shattered glass on my Samsung s4. The experience was a nightmare. 1) repairs took longer then originally promised 2) USB port is now broken 3) digitizer is now broken When I originally stopped in and ordered the new glass, I was told the repair would happen overnight and I would get my phone the next day. Then when the glass was in and I dropped the phone off I was told it would take 1-2 days. I called on the afternoon of day 2 to see what time I could pick my phone up. I was told it wasnt ready and wouldnt be for at least another day if not longer. At this point I did loose my cool and insisted they keep their word and get the phone back to me that day. I recieved it at 11:00 PM. I went to charge it that night and realized the USB port was no longer working. Ordered an external battery and my husband took the phone back down with the new battery to show them the problem. Suddenly the digitzer stopped working and we were told it was our fault - we must have put pressure on the glass. So now I have a completely unusable phone and was not given any type of refund. What a rip off. Needless to say, I am FURIOUS!!!

Took my wifes iPhone in for repair just hoping the battery went bad. They said 30 minutes $35. 45 minutes later new battery still not working they showed me an old swollen battery that would never had fit in her phone. I should have left then but they said the swollen battery pressing against the screen broke the screen so now were at $75 for the screen and battery. They will call me next day. No call go back to store still not ready. They say they need to reinitialize it and leave it on the internet for re-download. Come back next day still no call. Now they say it still doesnt work and they want to give up but they have to go put my original screen now and take out the battery. Saw a lot of people returning their phones for refunds while I was waiting there. More than buying stuff in fact. Prior to doing this review I Googled and saw they had been raided by the FBI last year in June. Something illegal must be going on there because they arent making money fixing phones. They didnt charge us at least.

I needed a screen repair for an Lg. They had to special order one, which ended up not working. They then put on one they had in store that was black, for my white phone because at this point I just needed a screen. That also didnt work. Onto the 3rd screen and special order- 3 weeks at this point- also had a deposit down and was told Id get a free charger for my inconvenience. I was told to pick it up after the weekend. I went in on Monday and they hadnt even started but they kept stringing me along like a toddler on a leash and I waited for over an hour. I was told to remove the tape after 30 days. I waited 35 to be safe, took it off and the screen wasnt even attached at the bottom. 3 months later its still taped up and now thankfully Im due for an upgrade because it never worked right for me. Oh and no free charger. Plus theres some frat brah that works there that runs around on this little wheelie dealy and speaks Ebonics so theres always something to watch while you stand there waiting forever.

iPhone died. Assumed that iPhone dealers (AT&T and Verizon) would offer tech services to repair it. Wrong!! All they wanted to do was sell me a new phone and a bigger plan to match. Googled "electronics repair shop downtown pittsburgh". Found Ninja Electronics. Asked a few friends. They recommended Ninja. I went to the Ninja website. Very user friendly and helpful. Contacted them via customer service email to learn if they repair iPhone products. "Milton" was top notch professional, timely, and courteous with his communication. Lined things up with who I needed drop the phone off with for repair. Dropped phone off. Told to come back in 24 hours. Notified me via email that it was repaired and ready to pick up ahead of schedule. The repair bill was significantly less that what I had budgeted for. Over all AAA1 customer service. They will be getting a lot more business from me! FrankW, East Northside

Its not just the deals, its the people behind those deals that make this place special. I recently bought a curved Samsung TV from the South Braddock Ave location, but it didnt have a remote so Alex hooked me up with a universal remote. Well, I get home and while the universal remote (from Time Warner) works for turning in the tv and for volume, I cannot access the smart features. I took to Facebook messenger and asked the owner Milton if he could locate an applicable remote. Fast Forward a day and sure enough, he was able to get me the remote that belonged to the tv after all! This level of customer service is outstanding! Its like having a personal ninja team working for me to locate the target. Will definitely be doing business again. Thanks guys!

These guys are fantastic. They (by far) give the best prices for trade/sell items. If anything goes wrong with your item, they are quick to help. The owner is awesome & I could only hope that his work ethic & the way he runs this place branches off into all of his franchises. I dont know what the previous reviewer "talkorganism" is going on about. Who cares what a place looks like, its the service that counts. The guy who wrote that review is obviously from a competing business or something - because what he said is a bunch of baloney! Its a "Mom & Pops" kind of place, its not fancy but its a place where one customer matters just the same as 1,000 customers. Every town needs more of these kind of places.

Extremely shady with their MacBooks. They dont know very much about the actual products they carry. Tried to sell me a "2016 MacBook Air". Im sure he was referring to a 2016 MacBook, as there was no 2016 refresh of the Air. Price was way too high for the entry level Mac. The proposed sale involved multiple phone calls- MacBooks are held off-site in case they get raided by the FBI again, so they had to make some phone calls to see what inventory they had in stock. No thank you. I asked about the Surface they had on display and not even the manger knew the model. He said "Surface actually sucks". Go somewhere where they actually have tech knowledge, not just street smarts.

Absolutely the worst experience ever in an electronic trading store. I needed a phone repair for my iPhone 6s and paid 160 to UbreakIfix which they are never worth that and my thumbprint wasnt working no more due to them replacing my screen and my phone had developed internal glitches also due to them . They supposedly backed up my pictures and contacts and didnt . I got attitude after them having me come back down to the store 4 times . Luckily I contacted Apple icare and they sent a replacement in the mail. Only deal I got after all this was a free phone case worth 5 dollars .Im aggravated I lost my money but one lesson learned never go here .
