This place is mecca for the wanna be and the entirely certain they know everything already woodworker. The machines are top notch the classes are amazing, but the teachers are really why you should go. I especially am grateful for having had Mario Rodriguez teach many of the classes I took. He is rock star. There isnt a more patient or knowledgeable person you could hope to learn from. Mario especially, but all of the teachers are unflappable, charismatic and willing to step in and navigate me through the parts Im stymied by at home. Best money I ever spent.

I wish I could give this place 100 stars! Alan, Mario and Leslie are dedicated, talented and passionate instructors. There is such a depth of knowledge and woodworking expertise that youd be foolish to pass up a class at PFW. So if youre looking to learn skills that will benefit you for a lifetime, build fine furniture that will be in your family for generations, or are looking for a quality, novel experience, then take a class. You wont regret it!
