Despite all the bad reviews i decided to give J&D Furniture in vineland new jersey a chance and im proud to say so far i am very pleased and satisfied! I purchased an sectional with an ottoman, ottoman had to be ordered so it wasnt delivered with my sectional. My sectional is the exact one i wanted, brand new, far as the quality i will write another review down the line. Prices are great be sure to check online too.Delivery was exactly as expect no problems, 6 days after i purchased it and my sectional is here as i was told it would be. The day of delivery they even called me to confirm someone would be home for delivery and told me where i was on the list(#) far as delivery for that day. Customer service was fine had no issues there either.. Once my ottoman comes in i will write another review. Exactly 3 months from there should let me know if i will recommend J&D Furniture to family and friends, i have to be sure all areas are checked before i judge! This review is based on my sectional, price the service and delivery of it.

if you go here you might as well take your money and throw it into the wind......I dont know how this place stays in business..... I was also insulted by the staff when I called with complaints about furniture I bought here that was falling apart within weeks of arrival. I also waited for over 6 weeks to even get the furniture and then it wasnt finished and the bare wood was left on the front of the arm when I received it...they wouldnt take it back and said they would send a guy out....that also took weeks to happen. This sectional furniture cost over 2000.00 and the springs popped out, the pillows ripped from the back of couch, accent pillows ripped at seams ( all eight of them ), my sons foot went threw the back and he got cut on a spring which sticks out under the seat........should I go on .....just please dont go here.....all this happened within the first year of ownership......

Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere. "Henry" the store manager and Maddie the assistant store manager need to find other jobs. Maddie told me, "I dont make the rules, I just work here." What kind of manager makes that remark? Less than 24 hours after my purchase I called the store to ask for a return or credit. The beds were still in the original boxes in my garage. Maddie told me I could not do either because they might contain bed bugs. Really? I was offended. She didnt offer any other explanation or reason. Horrible and unprofessional. I plan on telling this story on every web page possible.

very non chalent attitude. Before purchasing a double bed I ask to try out the mattress. "You mean you want to sit on? the sales ladysaid. (like I have to spend more time with you before writing up the sales tic ket) Having it delivered. No time commitment for delivery, just we will be there between 11am and 6pm. Called again, next aswer was btw 3pm and 6pm. Explanation: we dont mk delivery appts. So be prepared to spend the whole day at home waiting for a delivery. Hope the bed lasts. I wish my ownself some luck.

Customer service is rather poor, it seemed more like they thought I was stealing from them. Every few minutes asking if I needed help. Pieces without price tags, i guess are subjected to whatever price. I heard three (3) different prices on the same table. The damage product price I was quoted, which was the same for the piece brand new, was more than expected and seemed insulting for the damage the store had acquired. Bobs discount for damaged products are more reasonable, to bad j&d doesnt compete with them

Telephone customer service is TERRIBLE!!! I called to check the status of an order and "Ashley" states she is placing the order today so I asked the time frame of arrival since the furniture was being shipped from California. SHE HAS NO PROFESSIONAL/Customer service SKILLS NONE!!! every answer was a sarcastic "I dont know" response until I just gave up and hung up. USELESS! I am disappointed because I have purchased a few items in the past from them but this time I am really considering never going back.

This place has the worst customer service! I was told I would get my furniture in 3 weeks and it took forever. Then they try to blame it on you like you did something wrong! The people there had the worst attitudes and could care less about helping you. The manager has no control over her staff and allows her employees to make terrible decisions and insult the clientel. I will NEVER buy anything from here again! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT WORTH IT

J & D are very family oriented. They did their job of making sure you were taken care of and answered questions I had. I was able to get the drafting table I wanted. If the item was not in stock. They had a variety of books for me to choose from. 9 out of 10 for the delivery. It was great to have it put together and delivered. one thing is I only wish I could pinpoint the time of deliver. Glad someone was there to answer the door.

I hope that someone who works at J & D reads this message. Whoever creates the display on the sign outside....PLEASE have them use SPELL CHECK! I drive by here everyday. The sign is 9 times out of 10 spelled wrong! ie: Dinning Room Sets. Matresses. Seriously..... it does not make ME want to come into the store. I am sure that I am not the only one who notices.

The person answering the phones(making minimum wage) makes all the business decisions. Even though she stated thats she not the owner and she just answers the phone. Didnt think you spoke for David or knew his thoughts...dont waste your time with this business

They sold us a "black" table and chairs. Even the sales women said it was black. When we opened our box it was a maple color. NO REFUNDS, NO RETURNS, NO EXCHANGES - It screams SCAM!!!!!!
