I recently moved to Philadelphia for med school, and finding an optometrist in network (UnitedHealthcare Choice Plus, vision covered under Optum) was annoyingly difficult. Dr. Pages practice was the only one in the area offering a reasonable price for a standard exam and a contact lens prescription. He was very friendly and approachable, took the time to explain every step of what he was doing, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The exam rooms were neat, the equipment was clean, and the office also matched the price that I would have paid online for my contacts so I felt no upsell pressure whatsoever. They had my new contacts ready for pickup the next day. Overall, Dr. Page went above and beyond what I would expect from an optometrist and I will be going back to his practice for all of my eye care.

I started going to this practice 10+ years ago, and will never go anywhere else. Dr. Page and Associates and Tom are just amazing. They are very helpful and take the time to explain everything. They answer all of your questions and make you feel very comfortable. My daughter is also a patient here and loves them. She was sent to a specialist by her pediatrician and was upset and didnt like it. She said "I only wanna go to Dr. Pages" and we never have gone elsewhere. We have recommended many friends and family to them who love it and will never switch either. One of the best practices around. If your debating or thinking of switching eye doctors, this is honestly the best practice to go to... Wont ever leave them, and if you go there one time, you wont either.

You know the state of healthcare is bad when: A) The doctor spends the entire time trying to upsell contacts and glasses to you even though you insist your supply is fine and you just got a brand new pair of glasses. B) The doctor performs various services on you that you didnt want/ask for, and then charges you a $50 co pay for it. C) The doctor cannot answer the simple question "Did my prescription change?" with a Yes or No answer. D) You think you came through the wrong door because theres junk and paperwork all over the floor. This was my experience at this doctors office. Dont go here.

I have only had excellent experiences at Dr Scott Page and Associates. I was a "patient" for run of the mill eye check ups till I developed a serious retinal bleed out of nowhere. Dr Scott took it very seriously, got me into a specialist at the Wills Eye the same day and called periodically to check how I was doing which was GREATLY appreciated. Who ever wrote the review on Aug 3, 2010, that is NOT a reflection of this practice. What nonsense about papers all over the floor etc....this is a first rate practice.

Dr. Ward gave me good advice on contact lens use and how to preserve my vision. He also showed me the pictures of my eyes over the years and how little they have changed. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Ive been going here over 10 years.

The office is a little shabby, but the service was great and I liked that they leave you to try on contacts and glasses by yourself and dont hover over you (at least in my experience). I will definitely make them my main eye doctor.

Ive been going to Dr. Page over 10 years Ive never had a issue the staff is great. Ive never had any problems with my glasses unlike other places Ive been to.
