DO NOT EVER GO HERE. Raggety. Horrible service. Shady and sheisty. The room they take you in to get your eyes looked at is basically a remodeled closet. The walls are made of cardboard practically. The doctor looked at my eyes for maybe 35 seconds before writing my prescription, which is very complicated and extensive and has been for many years. The carpet all over is all torn up. Very limited glasses selection. The people that work there have terrible attitudes, not professional at all. They require a deposit in order for you to make any prescription. Why would I pay you for a prescription you havent filled for me?! They dont accept prescription renewals over the phone. You have to go there, pay a deposit, then go back and pick it up and hope its the right one considering the doctor hardly looks at your eyes. They only ordered me ONE contact lens and it took 2 weeks for them to get the other one. The doctor shows up to work whenever he wants. They open at 10, he showed up about 11:30. When they put you on hold, they hang up on you half the time. I had to call back 3 times to get them to stop hanging up the phone while I was on hold trying to check the status of my contacts. They WILL NOT call you when they are ready. You just have to keep calling and checking. Not to mention homeless people, people eating and dropping food everywhere, drug addicts, running children. and loud persons on the phone clutter the interior of this place, none of them actually being serviced.

Great experience; the woman employee at the front desk was prompt, professional and courteous. The Doctor who examined me was the same as well as patient and friendly. If youre looking for glamor, bright lights, bells and whistles then youre in the wrong place. But if you want good honest service and employees who understands vision insurance protocols and not confused as what to do this is it. I gave 4 stars because their frame selection needs to be updated.

I needed contacts and my regular opthalmologist did not have Saturday hours so I went to Phila Vision Center on Chelten Ave where I was able to get an exam and contacts in a hurry. I also ordered a pair of designer (Ray Bans) glasses which were ready within 5 business days. The store staff were very professional and nice. I also did not have a long wait. Would definately use them again.

I went on a friday and the regular doctor was not there. The eye exam was fast and the staff was helpful. Not many important screenings preformed, that was the only issue

Great neighborhood place. Nice service. I had unusually large frames and I was still able to have them filled on the same day that I brought them in. Im super grateful !
