I was very impressed with the one-on-one service and the selection. When I went, waaay back in 2013, their selection was eclectic as heck. Oh, and elegantly eccentric. You know how youll go into a Cohens or Joes Eyeglasses, and you will see a boatload of glasses, and then you look a little closer and you see that, really, they are clones, maybe a color is tweaked or a jewel added. And you are overwhelmed and are like I like this style, but should I get the salmon or rose pair (I mean why do they do this - its a Marketing 101 no-no) ? This is NOT the case at at Margot & Camilles, which has the vibe of a boutique, or a museum even, given that it is so beautifully curated. There are few glasses, carefully and lovingly displayed, and they each have a signature to them. As for my presonal experience, I quickly found a pair of frames that both complemented my face and were my style. I was also introduced to digital lenses, which have greatly improved my vision. I purchased my glasses about two years ago and STILL receive top-notch service from the shop whenever I have any issues. I also was given absolutely no hassles when I had a scratch on my digital lens and wanted to replace them under the warranty. Highly recommended!!!!!! Next time Im in Philly I will definitely be stopping here. Not only did they give great service re the glasses but they were very personable!

OUTSTANDING! From the minute I first opened the door I knew this was different. I was greeted within minutes and a few other customers were casually browsing... what other glasses store has a true shopping experience?? I sat down and showed my broken glasses and we were off! It might have been as close to the olivanders wand shop as Ill get. We poured over glasses, all stunning and unique. Valerie knew my face immediately, she made great recommendations and knew what would work. Surprisingly to me, I tried on bright, beautiful green glasses and fell in love! Even cooler was when Valerie and her associate Eddie helped me exchange the arms for another color! SO COOL. I was then fit for glasses and they measured my eyes.. Id never had that happen before. when I went to pick up the completed glasses not even 5 days later, I knew the fitting made all the difference. Theyre perfection! So youll need to bring your prescription and pay for the glassesa upfront. My vision insurance, VBA, will cover a good bit of the cost. I submitted a claim form, which was super easy online. Dont let that deter you, its very simple and you wont find such gorgeous, unique hand sourced frames anywhere else. The service is what makes it! Thank you Margo and Camille!

Outstanding. Excellent, honest advice from Valerie, and unusual and interesting selection of frames - including matte finish natural horn frames from Tom Davies, including designs exclusive to Margot & Camille. Perfect place to find out what suits you. Also note the lens lab she uses produces excellent quality vision - noticeably superior to another digital surface lens I own... and am happy with, just was suprised how good the lenses were, and the fitting from Valerie to ensure that.

Jadore Margot & Camille! Valerie is always generous with her time and expertise and will take however much time is needed to find the perfect pair of glasses. Her selection is eclectic and elegant, and I always receive compliments on my glasses. That it is in my neighborhood and is such a cute, clean, well-organized shop are also huge pluses!

The glass frames I bought at Margot and Camille are several years old and I still get compliments on them nearly every day. I looked at all of the top rated frame shops in Philly and none of them had the frames that Margot and Camille carry. My eyes are so bad, I need to wear them all day, so how they look is important.
