Ig Saturation

This is an excellent hardware store, theyve survived here for over 20 years. They have a little of everything and serve the community well with friendly neighborhood staff. Their prices are on the high side compared to the Depot or Lowes, but you cant beat walk-in convenience and knowledgeable staff. I would go here first rather than drive down to the big boys anytime. I see such stores as they place to go for parts to fix things [ most common!], while the big hardware stores are for projects [uncommon].

Not only are the staff helpful and friendly, but this place has everything you want, from A/C filters to key rings. They are open from 8 to 8, so theyre there when you want them. They also sell those little carts for groceries. Not only that, but when my bike was stuck to a tree with an un-openable lock they actually loaned me a pair of bolt cutters. A store that loaned me something they could have sold me! It blew me away. This is absolutely the only hardware store in Center City that I will ever need.

The staff and selection at 10th Street Hardware always impresses me. They have utilized every square inch of the store and seem to know everything about their merchandise - even how to use it. I have purchased paint and plumbing products numerous times, and was happy to learn that they also have a great garden center through the back of the store that Ive come to rely on. They also sell firewood and Duraflame logs in the winter! The reviewer below (Dan) must work at Home Depot or Lowes.

I live right around the corner from these guys and they are very friendly and helpful. You would not believe the creative stacking theyve had to do to get everything into the store. Still, they almost always have what I need, and have reasonable prices. The other day I was short $2 and they were like, "Psh. Pay us next time." Thats the kind of customer satisfaction you cant fake, I highly recommend 10th street.

These guys are super helpful and manage to pack lots of useful stuff in that store. Everything from light bulbs to shelving to garden supplies! I walked in, a little overwhelmed after moving, asking for help and they were great. They helped me find everything I need and Ill be back soon with measurements for a few more things I need. Really glad to have these guys right up the street.

I called in advance to see if they carried a specific product. I live a ways away and didnt want to waste my time walking down if they didnt carry the product. On the phone they said "yes, we have it!" And the guy said he checked to make sure. Yet, when I get there, I found that they carry no such product. I dont appreciate a business of liars. Wasting my time.

I bought a gift, a shopping cart, and specifically asked if it would be returnable if the recipient did not want it, they said "Yes". Well, the recipient did not want it, took it back to the store, with the receipt, transaction # A292366, associate: David. And they would not take it back. They should have told me the truth, not lie!

very helpful staff who know where everything is in that tightly packed spot. great neighborhood hardware store all around. their stock changes seasonally to reflect what people need more of at any given time. in the winter its insulation, in the spring its gardening, etc...

The best hardware store in center city, hands-down. It seems they have crammed an entire Home Depot into 16-by-50 foot space. They have everything. The employees are very helpful and as friendly as can be. What more could you want?

I called the store at 8pm (when they close) and they actually stayed open late for us. We ran over, and they were waiting for us. They were very friendly and very helpful, even after hours. Highly recommended!!!
