We just had the most horrible experience dealing with Plaza flowers. I was reading online and calling local florists to use for our wedding and ended up trying Plaza flowers since its close to my wifes house. We ordered boutonnieres, corsages and the 3 bouquets (we tried to make everything small and budgeted). My wife was so pretty on our wedding day, everybody looks good but the FLOWERS? I was like you paid how much for those bouquets? The roses doesnt look nice and they cheated on the counts. The 2 bouquets had 9 and 11 roses instead of 12. Our photographer didnt even use the brides bouquet and used what my mother in law made because it looks better! I was infuriated to the fact that these people were charging $10 for low quality roses ( I bought the centerpieces and other flowers from my local Shoprite florist in Williamstown, NJ and I was wowed by their flower arrangements and saved us some money too! The manager used to be a florist and their service was awesome!) Plaza flowers also breached our contract by giving us less flowers, compliments of Renee who lied to her manager Heather about the flower count. I spoke to Heather, asking for some money back and told me shes just going to give me a gift card? I believe we paid money not gift cards so I was asking not all but some money back. After so many frustrating e-mails Heather told me that Im already disgruntled, shell give me a gift card but not my money and she doesnt have use for me because she knows Im not coming back for business. So much for customer service! She even mocked me by saying Ill give you the price of the missing roses instead and double it up! I mean how low can you be? Its just total greed! They can never bring back the time when they screwed our wedding with crappy and cheated flower arrangements. I wasnt even asking a lot! Now the bottom line and the moral of the story. Plaza flowers charges too much! They try to make you believe that they order the flowers from high end suppliers but you know what I found out from reading online? This business is no different from most businesses. Its all about the bottom line. Its all about how much more money can you make. They charge you $3.50 per rose PLUS the florists processing fee which by the way you can get at bulk suppliers like FTD for 1.20 a piece, BLOOMS by the BOX , Teleflora, Proflowers, 1800flowers, Weddingflowers of America, Freshrosepetals or Bloomstoday or even your local supermarket. I do believe in supporting local businesses thats why we gave them a shot. But it was a very big mistake. We dealt with thieves and liars! If youre looking for nice flowers, good arrangements and better pricing, shop around and read online. We were lucky enough that we found our local Shoprite and gave us deals. I really wished we just used them for the corsages, boutonnieres and bouquets. If youre finicky about online businesses check out some reviews or try 1800flowers, Its like dealing with a local florist because they do have local florists and have contracts with local florists but in cheaper more competitive price. If youre crafty or have crafty relatives or a DIY kind of person, I think FTD, Blooms by the Box and Freshrosepetals have some good bulk flowers matched with some youtube tutorials and voila! You can have all the pretty flowers you want without breaking the bank! Flowers are suppose to make you smile not break your wallet. If you like breaking the bank then Plaza flowers is definitely your one stop flower shop.

Horrible! Horrible! Customer Service. My fiance ordered me 15 Stemmed Red Tulips for our Anniversary, at 9am with a promise that the flowers would be delivered by 2PM. At 2:45 I received a call stating that the driver would be there with the flowers momentarily. ( I had absolutely no idea that I was getting flowers because it was supposed to be a surprise) The driver arrived at 4:15PM after I decided to cancel the order on behalf of my fiance. I called up and asked for a manager the person who answered the phone told me that she could assist me (cant remember her name) when I told her what happened she didnt apologize AT ALL...she went on to tell me how the 3rd party company (Pro Flowers) gave them the order at 10:15am and because my fiance paid extra to have the flowers delivered and they didnt get the extra money to deliver them, they we not obligated to deliver them on time. Im getting married next year and they are in my area, I wouldnt use them if they gave me the services free of charge. Who ever the woman is that answered the phone should be fired! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT CRAPPY SERVICE!!!

My experience with Plaza Flowers has always been pleasurable, always exceeding my high expectations. They are creative and unique in their design application and always go above and beyond with their customer service. They are literally a professional A+ flower establishment. ---- I think its fair to shed some light onto a review written by another customer.---- It appears he was somewhat disappointed with a call made to the recipient by the dispatcher confirming a time for the intended delivery. I know this is a procedure many flowers shops adhere to. It exemplifies their efficiency and avoids any delays or mishaps in the delivery process. For all intent and purpose, if the floral arrangement to be delivered is to be a surprise, I think it should be the senders responsibility to advise the the flower shop of such. I think the blame here falls possibly on the sender and not Plaza Florist. When everything is said and done, I believe the recipient was thrilled with the beautiful floral design she received! KUDOS to Plaza Flowers

This place is a ripoff. Valentines Day 2012 was the second straight year that I ordered flowers for my wife from Plaza Flowers. Last year, they delivered the wrong arrangement and delivered on that was much smaller than what I had ordered. When I called them, they refunded my money AND delivered the arrangement I had ordered at no charge. Based on that, I decided to try them again. This year, they delivered substandard flowers to my wife. About half the roses were wilted when they arrived and never opened. The other half were not healthy looking and wilted within a day. I let them know of the problem. On Saturday, 2/18, I got a call from a woman at the shop who said they would like to deliver a replacement. I told her that given that this was the second year they had messed up, I would rather have a refund. She told me she would take care of the refund. It is now 3/22 and the refund has yet to be applied to my credit card. Plaza Flowers delivers poor quality flowers and does not stand behind what they do.

I used plaza flowers to deliver a same day gift basket full of candy and chips. they delivered the most pathetic basket ever. First of all, it was not the right basket at all. It was full of coffee, tea, and jams. Thank god the person i sent it to told me what was in the basket that got delivered otherwise id have paid $75 for crap that i didnt even order. I also added for $5 more for a mylar balloon that was on the first basket. after complaining they agreed to deliver the CORRECT basket to the house. The next day, the correct basket arrived WITHOUT a ballon AND they took the original delivery full of coffee and jams back! They wouldnt leave until they had it in their hands. What if the person it was delivered to had opened it? So unprofessional. If you want to be sure that what youre sending, is actually sent... use someone else.
