I have used Walgreens pharmacy for several years. To cut the costs of medications, I use GoodRx coupons. They have it on file for me. No issues for years up until today. I went to go get my refill, where I was told that, "the manufacturer switched and that packaging will look different." I didnt think much of it, until I was told the price, which is $13.00 more expensive. I asked for them to check again, where I was told there was nothing they can do for me. They stated that if I wanted the same medication that I have been taking for years, that I would have to order it in advance and that they wouldnt be able to get it. First issue was the fact that they lied to my face. If the same medication that I have taken for years switched manufacturers, then how can they order it? Oh, because it was a lie. I figured I would chalk it up as a loss, seeing as how I needed the medication. Once I got home, I went onto my trusty GoodRx to look up the new medication, only to find out that it is actually the same price as my current medication. Funny, that they couldnt help me at all with the additional $13.00. I realize that they may switch the brands they have in stock to make it more expensive for insurance companies, but for them to make it more expensive for the customer for absolutely zero reason is absurd. They did not even give me a heads up when I ordered the refill that it would be not only different, but more expensive. What a joke. Go elsewhere!

The staff is very personable. I feel like Im the only patient at the pharmacy. Additionally, the front end staff are also very helpful. With the "death" of customer service it is so refreshing Walgreens staff cares that we choose them. Thank you & keep up your great services
