Extremely disappointed ~ I tried placing an order with this florist for a very dear friends Mothers Memorial Service. After the woman I was speaking to found I was looking to spend roughly 40.00 to 60.00 with delivery fee included. Something simple and pretty, nothing extravagant. I was put on hold. When she came back on the line, I was told "We do not deliver to Devon". Really... Your website says differently... “Areas Served Our shop personally serves the following areas: Malvern, Frazer, Paoli, Berwyn, Devon, Wayne, Exton and parts of West Chester, Downingtown and Newtown Square” I guess they only deliver if you spend more money. I do have to give Malvern Flowers props though she recommended Plaza Flowers in Norristown, the woman I spoke to at Plaza Flowers certainly did not make me feel less than a Mainliner!! In fact she was extremely helpful and kind. From now on Plaza Flowers will get my business and I will definitely NOT recommend Malvern Flowers to my friends or family.

I placed an order for a floral arrangement to be delivered to my former office upon the death of one of our colleagues. The person on the phone was helpful, but I was a bit surprised to find out that there is a $45 minimum order for delivery, not including a $12.95 delivery fee. Considering Malvern Flowers & Gifts is less than four miles from my former office, I felt that the fee was high. In the past, I dont know that I have paid more than $5 for a local florist to deliver. Furthermore, after receiving a photo of the flowers from another colleague still at the office, I was disappointed to see how small the arrangement was for a $61 total price tag. It mostly consisted of daisies (a cheaper flower), though to be fair they were pretty and appropriate to the occasion of the gift. The arrangement was nicely done and delivered on time, but I dont think it was worth $61.

I was in a real jam this past Saturday. I was attending the funeral of a friend and their was a mix-up with the flowers. I needed 50+ white roses arranged and ready in 30 minutes. I called a number of florists that just could help me out, but once I reached Malvern Flowers and gifts on the phone everything changed. The owner was sympathetic to my situation and offered to drop everything for me. Even though she didnt have all the roses i needed she helped my daughter arrange flowers we picked up at another florist and put the entire arrangement together and even dropped it off just in time for the funeral mass. I am truly grateful for the help i received in my moment of need and would recommend this business to ANYONE who likes great service and wants to do business with good people.

The 60$ bouquet was beautiful at first, then part of it died over night after we picked it up. I came back to get a replacement for the dead flowers and the woman was so annoyed. She was sighing heavily and rolling her eyes. She took the flowers into the back and started to complain about us as customers loud enough that I could hear her. Then, she came back out and told us we needed to come back in an hour and that shes going to do it for "free this time". Then told us that the flowers that the type of bouquet we got she advised against because theyre not guaranteed. I think it was our fault that the part died, but so rude to audibly complain about a customer.

Wow! I called on Mothers Day 2015 from Chicago on the off chance that I might find a florist who could deliver to my mom who is in a nearby rehab hospital. I caught the owner while she had stopped by, and even though they were closed, she offered to send my order out later in the afternoon. Am forever grateful and so impressed by her generosity. Happy Mothers Day, Malvern Flowers and Gifts! Sam Whalen
