The front store is full of interesting knick knacks and novelty items, and theres even a wall of obscure soda bottles where you can make your own 4 pack that includes Sioux City Sarsaparilla (YES) and Moxie (DEAR GOD NO). Its a good thing the store is there because you can expect upwards of a 20 minute wait to be seated. The staff was super friendly, but disorganized and inexperienced. A food runner (not our server) brought one of our party the wrong salad, then came back with the correct one, 15 minutes before everyone else in our party got their food. When we were done, another food runner started unloading dessert on our table and I had to stop him because we hadnt ordered any. The food itself was good, not great, not bad, which is fine, but for a place with a gimmick I expected something a bit more unique, it was on par with a Red Robin experience. All in all, it was an OK experience, but Id say unless you live close by, its more of a novelty than a place Id go regularly.

The dining area was filthy. My shoes were sticking to the floors from the moment I walked in the gift store. We were seated next to a wet area on the floor of about 2 square feet with food pieces mixed in. There was no way to walk around it. I warned the waitress, she thanked me and promised to have it cleaned; no one ever did, but she did promise two other groups while we sat there, that they would clean it as well. My table was wet with crumbs on it. I could not order food because it was too disgusting, but my wife was starving, so she did. I watched one couple shown to their seat, refuse to sit in the chair offered, because it had food on it. I watched as they cleaned a table from a group of eight or so people. They cleaned most of the food, but swept the rest under the table. When I got to my car, there was a Walmart receipt stuck to my shoe, because the soles were sticky from having entered the restaurant. It reminded me of a feed-lot.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is essentially two businesses. The Old Country Store is full of country kitsch that Id never imagine myself buying, except maybe for the rocking chairs. Cracker Barrel is the restaurant part that serves country-style cooking. Plusses: - Generally decent cooking. I havent had anything truly bad as long as I stick to the breakfast side of the menu. - Large portion sizes. Any of the breakfast platters could satisfy one and a half people! Minuses: - Unfortunately, the problem is service. Our server dropped off the check very early in the meal and she was never seen again. I hate it when they do that. - Although the Old Country Store has some amusing wares, most of it is overpriced and not practical. (or at least not to my tastes anyway)

Ive been coming here for over 20 years. My first memories of this place ate coming to eat with my grandparents and then doing some Christmas shopping. Theres something so magical and charming about this place. They have so many many gifts, and fairly priced. Their food is the best comfort food around! Ive never been to a place where so little money could get you so much food. I always leave with a full stomach, a smile on my face, and leftovers for later! The staff is always friendly, and makes sure our needs are met. Theres lots of parking as well. I love sitting on the porch, watching my kiddos play checkers after their meal. Its been a family favorite for years, and I dont see that changing anytime soon!

We stopped at this Cracker Barrel during a road trip because I know that Cracker Barrel always delivers a good, warm meal in a friendly environment. That and being lovers of random things, we wanted to visit the Country shop. This Cracker Barrel was no different. A great restaurant with terrific food and super-friendly servers. The only bad thing was that the corn muffins were dry - a first for me at a Cracker Barrel. Located just off the highway, its perfectly situated for a pull-off, eat and pull-on without getting lost in the super dark Pennsylvania night.

We have eaten there many times and have enjoyed it ...BUT ...this past time I ordered my normal 2 blueberry pancakes ( the normal order is 3 but I only order 2 because they are SO LARGE) ...this time, however, they were the size a bit larger than the palm of my hand ..... VERY disappointed ...I said something to the establishment and their response .... oh ...I am so sorry ...that was it !!! ...We have been going there every week for a year ...I am thinking that might stop

I called it segregation seat arrangement because the waitress set up the tables with white and Asian couples at the same section on purpose (I strongly believe). I didnt notice it until my friend mentioned this issue. There were other empty seats but they put us into the one place. This was very awkward situation. I used to like this restaurant but i am going to recommend people not going there anymore

My family and I LOVE it here! The food is always great, its reasonably priced and we never have to wait long. I also like that they give you your check, about halfway through your meal. When I go out to eat, I like to leave as soon as Im done. I dont like having to wait around for the check. With them bringing the check early, I can do just that. Im able to finish my meal and head right to the cashier.

The food was yummy. The table service was great. Jenn was very pleasant. The lady at the register was slow (20 minutes) in unlocking the chairs after I paid. She then realized a mistake in what she charged me for the chair. . She took 30 minutes to fix the mistake she made. As a result it took almost an hour to cash out and leave. I was late for an appointment. Disappointed. I usually love CBs

The best Cracker Barrel Ive ever been to. Clean store, friendly staff, and the best food to date: crispy bacon, insanely cheesy hashbrown casserole, and the worlds fluffiest biscuits (apparently a chef named Patty makes them, and when shes on the line, you can tell the difference). It wasnt the heat-and-serve food youd expect from a chain.

Its cracker barrel. Food is decent, but not great. I know people go there for meat and potatoes, but I think the chefs salad is the best item on the menu. They also put lots of onions in their hash brown casserole, so if you want to taste onions for several hours after eating it on Saturday morning, be sure to order that. Lol.

The food was terrible I was hungry for home cooked flavor and all I got was bad the soup veg. Beef was as thick as chil wanted soup! The mashed potatos were ok but the gravy was nasty the biscuits and corn bread dry bad even the butter had no taste the most tasteless terrible food ever. I will never go back
