Where to start.....uggggh....Went in here with my 12yr old and my husband. A lady at a food sample stand gave my son a sample of some Jalepeno and Habanero cheese despite my husband saying it was a bad idea, she insisted that it wasnt bad. 4 min later my husband bought my son some milk to put the fire out. Two things here; 1. Dont offer 12yr olds habenero cheese 2. If you do, the milk should be on the house It didnt stop there. We went to check out, two lanes open. There was one guy in front of us with some hot dog rolls, amongst other things, asking the cashier for specifics. The guy refuses the rolls. Next, the cashier sends another employee to the aisle to bring some other choices. Hes not sure, so again they go back to the aisle for more choices. The manager sees all of this and does nothing. In the meantime, my son finished his milk and is still sweating bullets, so hes itching to get home. All in all...25min checkout. It should be noted that there is a Wal-Mart 400yds away, who has a better selection, MUCH MUCH cheaper prices, and a speedier checkout. With their terrible pricing, the folks working here should be zipping customers through those lines quickly and efficiently, they should spend extra payroll dollars at the register because other than appearance (it is a very clean store) Wal Mart is kicking their a(s)s.

Overall, I really like this store. It is usually clean and well stocked. My husband and I both shop here and he likes the selection of deli meats and cheeses. Most of the employees are very friendly and are willing to help and often asks if I am finding everything that I need. My only suggestion, like another reviewer has stated, is that they need to work on bagging items. I use lots of bags because I cant carry my items too heavy. I feel as if I am being nit picky, but that is the truth. Sometimes I have to re bag my own items, which is fine. Keep up the great work, Giant Food in Ephrata! : )

Giant groceries and food stores are absolutely a must on Your list when You need to do some serious grocery shopping. You generally can find everything and anything within minutes, but be aware never visit a Giant on an empty stomach. Theyre easy to navigate and grab everything you need to stock up on items for Your pantry within minutes, and if theres anything specific to Your needs and cant find it, just ask someone and they wont hesitate to go out of their way to help With Your needs.

This giant was awesome like a year ago. Has gone downhill since then. Salad selection is severely lacking 90% of the time. Salad that is there is wilted and sad. Also, giant re did their brand of salad dressing and added milk/egg yolk to all of the tasteful dressings they had. Im very disappointed in giant these days. They are just a more expensive Walmart.

I have found that the selections in this store are limited and the Aisle layout and food groupings are very confusing. Unless you are a regular at this store you might end up walking every aisle just to find some of the most basic items. Last time I went to this store I felt like I was on a scavenger hunt. On a positive note the store is always clean.

I go here multiple times each week. Its a pain to get to, from 222 after 3:30pm (traffic & horrible road set up), but I like that its not crowded, they always have what I need, and its somewhat on my way home from work. I can stop in the get a few items and be out in 10 minutes. Clean, organized, and well-stocked too.

Nice, clean, great selection, however, seldom have bagging help. Cashiers are expected to make their scanning quota and bag at the same time. Have often seen managers standing around talking in a group while Im bagging my own groceries to help the cashiers out. Poor management IMO

Like the selection. Hate the baggers. They ALWAYS put my cold foods in my non insulated bags and canned goods in my insulated bags. ALWAYS. And put breads/rolls in with heavy stuff that squishes them. Store is very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I love this locations selection, however I often use western union and 90% of the time I go there, their system is down, so Im forced to go further out of my way or even wait till the next day. Im a fan of convenience. The staff is super friendly.

A few months ago I would get lunch over at the hot bar and the Mac and cheese was so good. Now it seems like Everytime I go over there the Mac and cheese looks like its been sitting for days. I miss the good Mac and cheese

This is a nice Giant grocery store. Its has a nice look and a good selection of fresh foods as well as the standard items you expect at a Giant. The prices are higher than other stores, but that is also standard Giant.

Bakery is horrible. Ordered a cake with requests that there should be no border and when i picked the cake up they put a border around it and the writing ran into the border. Disappointed with the service.

This is a good example of a Giant store. Theres ample parking and helpful, friendly staff. Theres a very good selection of food, a/deli with plenty of choices and a reasonably good bakery department.

Jeremy, who was my cashier, should get a raise. He was one of the pleasantest cashiers Ive ever met. Its because of people like him I shop at giant. Very pleasant staff and calm atmosphere.

This is our favorite Giant store to shop at. There is plenty room between the shelves and most times everything is in stock. The produce is fresh and they have a decent organic section.

Prices are reasonable, and if you watch their weekly flyers, you can get free or cheap gas by buying the right items. This is a new store, so it is very clean and in great condition.

Giant Gas. Only so many of those. Thats one of the biggest assets of this location. This is a newer location, and it is well managed and run.
