I was looking for a console. I found one that I loved. The store did not have anymore. I asked to buy the one on display, but was hoping to get a little off, since the display was scratched. The sales associate went to ask the manager (who was only about 10 feet away, I watched the entire conversation). The manager said I could not buy that one at a discount, because she could order me one. I tried explaining to the sales associate that I needed the console that day, but she couldnt do anything, it was up to the manager. Unfortunately, the manager wasnt willing to walk 10 feet over for me to talk to her directly. She just continued to put things away as I tried to deal with the sales associate (who couldnt override what the manager had said). I was starting to get upset, thinking that might make the manager come over, but nothing worked. She just stood there and ignored the entire conversation. Luckily for me, I visited the store in Phillipsburg, where the exact same situation happened again (only the display was left and it was scratched). Thank goodness this manager was trained in customer service, because she let me purchase the display at 15% off. Now, I travel farther, pay a toll, and pay a higher tax rate, just so I can visit a Pier 1 store that cares about their customer. I DO NOT recommend visiting the Easton Pier 1.

On 5/2/2017 I went to Pier 1 imports located at 4443 Southmont Way, Easton, PA (Store #1335). At checkout "Michele" (Reg:02) - asked me if I wanted to open an account to save 15%. I said I was not interested and just wanted to make my purchase. Then asked for my phone number, and I said no thank you and she said "not even that"? She was obviously very annoyed that I did not want to sign up for anything or give any of my personal info. She bagged my items in a very a fresh manner to let me know she was annoyed with me. Left the store which I love the items in, feeling it was a bad experience.

Cant find the stuff Im looking for. Once the stuff is gone...its all gone. The website is not up-to-date with the store supplies. Better call before you go there to make sure they have what you want.
