I wish that I could give this review zero stars. I was shocked and appalled this weekend when I came into the Medicine Shoppe. I was traveling over an hour away to attend a bridal shower for a friend. I stopped into the Medicine Shoppe for a card, and to use the restroom. When I entered the store, a teenager was at the front counter. I asked him if there was a bathroom, and he replied yes, and pointed in the direction. While an older woman, possibly a manager or owner, yelled over top of him, "No. We dont have a bathroom here." I said oh, okay. I looked at the one other customer in the store, who stared at me, clearly in as much disbelief as I was. And I walked out of the store. Now, I am firm believer that what goes around comes around. I know whole hardheartedly, that there will come a time that this manager, or her daughter/son/husband walks into a store and is treated as if she is scum of the earth. She will be looked down up, and dismissed. And I sincerely hope that when she has this moment of clarity (slap in the face)- that she will remember exactly how she treated me. :-) Do yourself a favor and visit CVS/Walgreens/ any other pharmacy. You will save your dignity and thank me later.

Julia -little history - - - they were held up at gunpoint =not long before your visit and locked in a closet. that "older woman" was held with a gun to her head. I dont think its strange that they would keep people from behind their counter where their restroom is located. So, its not you. Its the fear of another incident. As a regular here for about 20 years now, Id say they are the most gracious and considerate people Ive ever had the pleasure to meet, which is the only reason Ive stayed with them, while I could get my meds at a big box store or one of the large chains - - - - thats why I stay. BTW, aside from a gas station or supermarket, youll be hard-pressed to find any business that will let you use their restroom - especially if its behind their counter.

Friendliest staff in the neighborhood- no one can beat their service. Especially, Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS - they are horrible. Because I tried these chain pharmacies and no one can beat Medicine Shoppe service. They are the best!

This should be a 10 but only have 5 no place like this anywhere so friendly and deliver! the owner has take hr. to help me and just chat some time he a very nice guy and will leap tall building to help you!!!
