I had first took my bike here with a blown motor. I had put a new piston and rings in it myself before I brought it to them. They then had my bike for 6 months and when i picked it up lol spewed out my overflow, the spokes were bad and wheel bearings were bad. My dad had told them he wanted the bike completely looked over and ready to go when I got it. I then got it home was on my 3rd break in ride when the clutch cover gasket blew and I lost all the oil. So I bought new wheel bearings and gasket and put them in myself. Then took the wheel to the shop to have them put new spokes on it and true the wheel. They then told me my tire and tube were bad when they still held air and I was trying to make it last a little longer before I got a new tire. I finally get time to put a new tire and tube on and come to find out they didnt put the rim lock back in my rim and then they wanted to charge me for shipping for there screw up. I now have the wheel on the bike and now my bike doesnt want to run properly. Ive been to 4 different shops and everytime I get screwed. WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO FIND A GOOD RELIABLE SHOP.

Dropped of our bike in May. Engine needed a lower-end rebuild, which takes a while. Then the guy said hed look for a new engine and didnt hear anything back for a month. We could tell he was pushing us aside. Started getting told it wold take just another week or two. Then another week or two. Then we start getting attitude when checking on the bike. Here we are in September, going on four months later, and it keeps being pushed back. It would have been great to get honesty upfront. We probably would have bought another bike if we knew wed lose the ENTIRE riding season. But instead, we get lied to from week to week and pushed aside. Not happy at all. Please just give us our bike back.

The honest and professional team at south mtn cycle is personable, knowledgeable, and fun. They offer great service and competitive prices. I have been going here for years and never regretted it. I am treated like a valued customer and greeted with great service as soon I walk through the doors. They are extremely knowledgeable on most any motorcycle, not just their own stock. Very low pressure and an all around great atmosphere, and buying experience. Ive also had my bike serviced here a couple of times. Turn around time is always reasonable, work is done properly, and they have never damaged my bike. I highly recommend this place if youre in the York Harrisburg area.

What a nightmare to deal with. Waited over a week for parts, waited on hold for 15 minutes 6 days after order to see if they came in yet. Drove from York to Dillsburg only to have them try to charge me 20$ more than I was quoted on phone 30 minutes prior. After we left I opened the bearing kit only to find out 1 of the 4 swingarm seals was missing from the package, so they tried to substitute another seal from another kit for who knows what bike. Save yourself the headache and time and just order from somewhere like Dons Kawasaki, Action Motorsports, or Yamaha of Camp Hill. Im usually all about going through small businesses, but I guess lesson learned for this shop.

First of all, Jared is a super awesome great guy. You can go in there and talk about trails, riding, mountain bikes for an hour or two. I knew I wanted a Beta Xtrainer before I even saw one in front of me, and when Jared let me take a short spin on one at last years Michaux dual sport, I was sold. NO other dealer would let me demo a model so I knew I wanted to buy from SMCS. They arent the closest to me but I got the best price out the door WITH PA tags and confidence they will help me out anytime with the bike if I need it. The bike has been fantastic.If you fit on one, get one.

Small town shop,friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, they treat you like family here! Its not the closest bike shop to me but in my opinion their level of service and customer care is beyond compare and well worth the trip for me! Ive never felt strong armed into buying something I dont need or using them exclusively, the owner is straightforward and honest with you and doesnt try to pressure you into a sale or service! I highly recommend stopping in and checking them out!

A lot of money paid on a quad and it still doesnt run, this place is unprofessional and not trustworthy. Half of the pieces are missing from it and there are more issues happening than what I originally took it in for . They refused to even give any paperwork for ANY repairs done or any receipts for any money paid . Already spoke to my lawyer about them though so hopefully this will all be taking care of

This is an excellent hometown shop. Jared and Eric really care about their customers and are passionate and involved in power sports. Ive been going here since shortly after they opened and havent had a bad experience yet. Maybe the bad reviewer came in at during a rough day or something or maybe their another rival shop. haha Awesome place with an awesome staff. You wont be disappointed.

Fast honest professional service. South Mtn has competitive prices with parts even to the internet and can get specialty items not available from online retailers. I purchased my newest bike from Jared and the crew. Very easy transaction and after purchase service is great! If you need a new bike or an old one worked on take it here!

Good guys. Wes is a gem. Deserve support for dealing beta, sherco, and trials bikes. Jared does good mechanical work including ktms for fair price. Trustworthy. Small shop so sometimes things take a little longer but they end up done right. Check em out.

This place is great! Had a fuel issue with my ZRX1200 . . . they cleaned the carbs out and in a short period of time had it running like new! They were good to work with and I would recommend them!
