Black Friday 2016 - I bought the Big Backyard Premium Charleston Lodge Wood Swing Set on sale for $799.99, approximately $850 after tax. It is currently January 23rd, 2017, and although Toys R Us has my money, I still dont have the swing set that I purchased for my children. It was such a great deal that I skipped out on my familys Thanksgiving dinner to stand in line outside of the Toys R Us in Cranberry to make sure that I got one. According to the AD, part of the deal was: get FREE delivery with your in-store purchase. Now being an educated person, I saw the asterisk symbol to the right of this and made sure to read it. It said: Offer available with in-store purchase only (I purchased this in-store). In-store inventory varies by store (I was the second person to buy the few that they had available for purchase on Black Friday). Delivery/pick-up arrangements must be made at time of purchase (The ladies at customer service took down my contact information and said that someone would contact me). Shipping through delivery service could take 2-8 weeks (Its been over 8 weeks). See a Team Member for full details (I bought this at the customer service desk and was NOT told that I my purchase didnt qualify for FREE delivery). So since I bought the item, I have called twice and stopped in once to arrange shipping and I still have not received an answer as to when I am going to receive my product. Toys R Us has contacted me once. I had called several weeks after purchase to see why I hadnt received a phone call regarding my product. They said someone would be calling any day. A week or so later, I finally had a message asking to set-up a time to pick-up my item. I was confused since I had told them that I wanted to get the FREE delivery (I keep capitalizing it because thats how it was in the advertisement). So I stopped in two Saturdays ago. Nobody that worked there had any idea what I was talking about and they werent able to authorize delivery of my play set. This was even after I brought up a copy of the advertisement online. They said I would have to speak to someone that could authorize it. Do you think someone would call me? Nope. So two weeks later (today), I just got off the phone with them. The person that answered the phone said that they would put the manager on (oh, but he informed me he was just a supervisor introduced as a manager), which happened to be the same person that was working two weeks ago when I stopped in (I was supposed to know their schedules...). Again he said he couldnt do anything for me and then said that whoever waited on me informed me that I was out of the FREE delivery area. This is absolutely false! The ladies that waited on me on Black Friday were extremely friendly, but they NEVER informed me about any limit to the FREE delivery and neither did the advertisement. In case you are wondering, I live 36 minutes away. It isnt like I am in another state. The bottom line is I have a truck that I can use to pick-up this item, but what if I didnt?! Plus, that isnt the point. I have spoken to Toys R Us three times now trying to arrange delivery for my item that was advertised to have FREE delivery. It has been over 8 weeks and I still dont have the swing set I paid over $800 dollars for! Then, what infuriates me the most is, I was accused of knowing that I was outside of the delivery area because one of the people that waited on me said they told me, which is a complete lie. In turn, it is calling me a liar, which I dont appreciate as an honest paying customer. Especially after the person I last spoke with reiterated several times that I was told I didnt qualify for FREE delivery, even after I made it very clear that I was never given that information. Today was the first day I had heard of this! Whether I have to pick-up the item or not, I absolutely should be able to speak to someone that is honest, can get the job done in a mature and professional manner, and does not make me feel like I am the one who is in the wrong.

We went there this evening(Memorial Day) and the staff was closing the doors at 7 because of Memorial Day hours. It was my sons 4th birthday today and we were going there to get his present and he was very sad when we told him wed have to take him there the next day. One of the staff members came out of the store and let us in even though they did not have to. They gave him a balloon and a crown and although they stayed open for us none of the staff members were irritated by us at all. Everyone was all smiles and saying happy birthday to my son. It was a great experience and I think it should be recognized when a company goes above and beyond when they do not have to.

They are a nice store very clean, but we when there for a lego event and the people working there didnt look too organized and what it was supposed to be a nice experience for my kids was a very stressful experience and at the end they didnt have the lego pieces complete and couldnt build what the had

You can pretty much get something for your kid here - from birth through childhood. Besides the obvious variety of toys, I also appreciated that I could purchase items that make the home safer, such as gates and door knob covers.
