The following is becoming typical of my experiences at the Allentown Wegmans. Items are out for weeks. Items that are ordinary, we arent even talking extraordinary stuff. The pharmacy included. I have to expect to drop off my prescription and wait for up to a week for inventory to fill it. It was explained to me that corporate does all the ordering (does not include the pharmacy). Whatever the computer says the store gets, with no regard as to what the demographic needs are for the area. Once you discover a new product is usually is discontinued the next week. It took 6 weeks to resolved a bounced check issue, despite the fact that I was proactive and went to the customer service the moment I discovered the issue. I could not write checks during that six weeks. Today I got a cashier that failed to put 2 bags into the cart (she managed to put the rest in, but for some reason only known to God she kept two out). While making dinner I discovered a missing ingredient and had to drive back to the store for it. The service desk had the bags but only gave me one bag. Upon getting home and continuing the meal I discovered another missing ingredient. My son had put the groceries away, had I done it myself I would have noticed all the missing items. I called the service desk about the rest of the items and they said they were sitting at the service desk. I asked why they hadnt given me the entire portion of the order when I came in the first time. No explanation was given. The young high school cashiers seem to be on the ball, avoid any of the cashiers older than 20 something.

I have been shopping here for years, the store is rapidly going downhill. I was happy when they announced the expansion, which was needed since it was a relatively small store, and put up with the construction and the constant relocation of items. Now that it is almost complete, except for some cosmetics, I am greatly disappointed. The Grocery Selection seems to have actually shrunk (though there are more frozen aisles).. Tonight they were out of Peanuts and Pistachio nuts. It seems they are more concerned with turning the place into a bar/restaurant then a place to buy groceries. Parking is worse, and entrances have been removed. I rate the expansion a fail. Get your priorities straight, you are supposed to be a Grocery Store.

Seriously, Wegmans has it going on. Excellent for families with their family pack products, but awesome selection of finer foods as well. They have many Wegmans branded products, which I have found to be both unique and superb quality. They have a full restaurant, as well as an entire food court worth of great food at 8.99/lb. They have ample areas to eat after purchasing the food at the court, including child themed room playing cartoons, and huge ski lodge type rooms with fireplace and TVs to enjoy while eating. The prices are great for any budget and the food quality and selection is excellent. LOVE this place

Long before the Wegman family branched out of New York and moved south to Pennsylvania I was shopping at Wegmans 40 years ago. Whenever Im in the vicinity of a Wegmans I stop in and get my Buffalo- made foods like Weber Mustard and Johnnie Ryan Soda. I never purchase frozen or produce because I live about 35 miles from this store and it would be a mess driving home on a hot July day. The take-out foods are great. You can eat it right there. Always busy and noisy, ear plugs are recommended. Shopping here at Wegmans is a treat for me because I live in Reading and the food markets there SUCK.

Part of the greatest supermarket franchise on earth. A friendly and professional staff, with a great selection of fairly proceed products. I love coming here for their market cafe. Sushi, subs, pizza, soup, tacos, and more, with plenty of room to sit, relax, and enjoy your meal. They also have their own pub restaurant that you can eat at as well. This place is great for groups looking for a bite to eat. Bus drivers should check with the courtesy desk or market cafe manager, they have offered drivers a $15 coupon or full comping of your meal.

I find Wegmans all around to be a wonderful store. They have great healthy options along with all the standards that youre used to finding at any other grocery outlet. Their store brand is affordable and many selections come in bulk options. The staff are great and ready to answer questions. On a particular visit that didnt have a product I wanted and told me where I might be able to find. A great help!

Service was decent at the pub but they couldnt even cook a burger right. Asked for well done, came out raw - overheard the waitress have to explain to the chef that "well done" means no pink in the middle. Second time around the burger had massive chunks of salt in it. My wife only took a total of three bites but it make her horribly sick with food poisoning. Dont eat here if you value your health.

Decent grocery store with lots of made fresh food options, pub, salad bar, hot bar, bakery, coffee bar, pizza, and sushi. Its clean, well maintained, and the employees are friendly. They have a great natural foods section and offer items in bulk. My only issue is that its also too big. Its not easy to get in and out and some unique products are hard to find.

GREAT SERVICE, Great Pre-Made Breads, Goodies and Food, Great Employees, Good Store Layout...did I mention Great Service?!? During the holiday season, I was so impressed when they had someone in the baking aisle helping people find those baking items they only shop for once a year. It would keep the aisle moving and was so helpful! My Favorite Store!

Another one of their overpriced grocery stores. Mostly they survive on selling unusual grocery items, and being positioned in a richer area for the people that dont care what they spend, and relying on others who foolishly spend their money and fall into the overhyped in-store displays (and then wonder where their money went that week/month).

The perfect mix of high-quality (Whole Foods?) and discounted store-brand products and everything in between. Shoppers can be a little impatient or slow (or both) depending on the day, but the employees have always been great. Buffet food is a little pricy, but a great variety and a solid solution when everyone wants something different.

Wegmans is a phenomenal grocery store. Great selection, competitive prices on staples, high quality produce, and an ever expanding selection of organic and natural produce/meats. And dont sleep on the sushi and hot meals. Also, due to changes in PA liquor laws, Wegmans now has a diverse selection of craft beers and wine.
