I read a few of the other review and they obviously never visited this acme. First, they dont sell gas, second the kids they having working there - though pleasant enough - are clueless and obviously untrained. But heres the main problems: 1) you come in for basic item like milk or bread and the force you to walk through the entire store to find it. Almost every grocery item is in the grocery section but they shove bread and milk all the way in the far corner past the dry goods and pharmacy. Do they think their a casino? Do they think their Disney. There wine section is right by the door but no bread and no milk. Its not clever ACME, its customer abuse 2) the under 15 item check out line is confusing and silly. 3) there is no process for turning your shopping basic in at the short line. 4) every employee who I chat with ...I know most, Ive been living here a long time...say a similar "yeah our managers suck, but I need e job" Whats going on here? Everyone is abondoning you for Giant and Wegmans.

I save a lot of money here, but last night they had Santa Fe Turkey Breast in the deli priced at $1.09, and I thought that was a crazy awesome deal so I ordered 2 lbs. When I saw the price that printed out it said $10.99, and I told the woman at the deli what the price tag in the case said. Everyone else at the deli saw the price, and agreed that I should be charged the $1.09 (at least 5 people). It wasnt my fault they made that mistake. The woman proceeded to whisper/call me to the counter, and tell me that she didnt know if she was allowed to give me the discount, but that she would for 1lb of the turkey i ordered. And that if I came back to the counter ....(like it was my fault, and was that a threat?) She should have honored the whole order, and just screw her for making me feel like it was my fault for their mess up. Jerk!

My son wanted a treasure chest cake for his 5th bday and I looked high and low for some bakery to make it. Most said they would, but for $200+. I walked into acme to do my weekly grocery and was browsing the bakery section. Darlene came up and asked if she could help in anyway and when I mentioned the treasure chest cake, she immediately drew a pic and proceeded to tell me that she could make it. I placed the order with a lot of apprehension, but she did a WONDERFUL job and the guests at the party were blown away by the cake. It was a 60 ppl cake plus 36 cupcakes and we had 92 guests. All I got to eat was the frosting stuck on the board. and the cost was less than 1/4th of the bakery estimates. Acme, Darlene is a keeper, dont let her go. Madhu

Look, we all know Acme is never going to be great, but they are bringing lameness to a new level. Infuriatingly slow cashiers who take forever (why dont they open another line when they encounter a problem with their scanner machine or register and make us all sit there and wait?), not a great selection, esp. when it comes to any international foods you might want to try, and lots of loafers hanging around doing nothing to rectify any of the problems that waste customers time. As another reviewer said, too bad Wegmans isnt a little closer. Go there if you can -- its worth the trip if you have the time.

Its a fine grocery, I personally like the seafood section they have the best, there is a good wide variety of frozen and fresh seafood as well as the fresh meats department is also nice. They prices are slightly higher then I would prefer so mostly I go to Walmart and the same products for less but if Im in the mood for some seafood or fresh meats I go here for that.

I am not a fan of Acme - its dimly lit and overpriced. But two of the people at this location are so friendly, helpful and conversational everytime we go here - Joe & an older woman that usually works at night (blondish gray hair). These two are fantastic - definitely the reason my husband and I go back.

employees are very arrogant, the store wont price match even thou same items are sold at nearby stores much cheaper. Always long lines. always get lost inside the store. Closed the bank which was convenient to many customers to replace it with a "bar". Management needs to reexamine their protocols.

Its never terribly crowded. People are a bit in too much of a hurry but that seems to be the norm a lot elsewhere as well I suppose. The staff is friendly for the most part. The produce needs work. Never lasts more than a couple days. However their deals on meats are really good.

its a regular store with limited options on items, most of the stuff that I buy ( organic/gluten free/no artificial ingredients) arent found here. So I avoid going here often unless need to get something quick. slightly expensive compared to wegmans or giant which are not too far.

Acme is great, they have everything you need in one place. Employees are usually nice and its well stocked. For the convenience it is a bit pricey but its great for just getting in and out quickly.

A good example of an ACME. Plenty of parking, helpful staff, and plenty of choices. Some products are located in weird places, such as frozen fish products many aisles away from other frozen food.

Its my closest grocery store so its convenient. The produce and meat selections are decent. Not the cheapest store, but they have better quality fresh food than the next closest grocery store.

Good local supermarket. The managers here make sure your experience is always a good one. They also do a great job of training staff. Especially younger staff.

Cant buy anything frozen buy the time you get checked out everything is thawed. Horrible check out service and seems like it ok for management with long lines.

Nice remodel and they now sell beer and wine, but the prices are much higher (sometimes, more than $1.00), then Wegmans! I use them for convenience only.

Only one lane open and had to wait an extremely long time. Line was 5 or 6 deep. They need to open a self checkout later at night.

The place was clean and visible in small town. Also close to the Marsh Creek state park. Its convenient to buy food for picnic.

No complaints. Typical suburban grocery store. A bit overpriced, but the location is convenient.

Expensive for average quality. This place would be a ghost town if a Wegmans was a little closer.
