As a grocery store, the prices are reasonable and selection is marginal compared to other grocery stores. They have a courtesy shuttle, which is awesome, and the regular local driver is extremely helpful, polite, and courteous. Same goes for the security guard. He is also helpful and one of the Fresh Grocers few employees that are pleasant. Most employees at this grocery store are EXTREMELY rude! It amazes me how such people are employed in customer service! Shame on you Fresh Grocer, you will lose numerous customers if you let this go on! Today, I stood at the customer service desk for over 10 minutes and nobody offered to help! It wasnt even busy! One employee, thick and in her early 40s with brown/black curls a bit above shoulder length, was in the 10 items or less line with no customers. She saw me standing there and blatantly ignored me! When I asked for assistance, she was very rude. Perhaps, if I werent white, she would have been nicer.... Fresh Grocer, no more, I would rather pay full price for a taxi!

Outside of being a market accessible to most of those in the immediate vicinity, this is just a poorly managed kennys shoprite. This store functions under the fresh grocer name, and lends itself ONLY to cramped spaces, dim lighting, long lines, and a severely limited variety of products, as compared to other shoprite locations. Just because this store is in the heart of the city, does not mean it should be as neglected as the community it serves.

Manager name Bill the fat ugly pig that manages is horrible thats why the employees are horrible whatever is at the head the body follows.I will never go in there again to purchase anything but I may apply for manager position to rid the store of trash and his fat butt would be the first to go.you can tell that their nutts BECAUSE ur customers is what keeps you working. Oh I forgot you have to work to keep your food stamps.

I only will shop at this supermarket because its a quick buy. You can not bring the carts to your car which is a big inconvenience when you have multiple bags. Its always somebody in front begging for money or what have you. Most of the the lines is extra long. The cashiers is either eating or talking to each other while helping customers. Not my go to store

Ghetto, horrible service. Meats and seafood arent fresh. Check out isnt profession at all. Woman has her headphones in not paying attention to scanning items messing up everything. Security in a super market?????? Really???? They make you take the bags you brought in and drop it off into the security room. Absurd and embarrassing.

Fresh Grocers is so dirty the workers shirts are dirty their hair is all over the place just stories 30 paper everywhere trash on the floor stuff is half open oh my God I hate that store I would never buy meat from there because it dont look fresh

Healthy foods are over priced, the grounds are not maintained properly, and provide a lower quality of food and service. However, the variety of ethnic goods from the Caribbean and Mexico are better than other major grocery stores in the area.

The most ghetto hoodrat experience you will ever have , all the cashiers are on there phones with the headphones in talking on the phone its just a hoodrat store so if your a hoodrat in Wilmington go get some food

Do not buy the meat! I purchased 2 family packs of meat. When I opened the packages the stench was awful. The staff is very unprofessional. The cashiers are rude and supervisors are nowhere to be found.
