I have shopped at this Acme several times they have some really good sales. The store is kept clean and the staff appear to be friendly and nice. I dont like when items are labeled one price on the shelf and rings up a different price at the register. What really upsets me is to find an item on my receipt at home that I dont have and that I asked the cashier to remove more that twice. Totally inconvenient and unprofessional--no excuses! It has happened twice, so check your receipts. I have to make another trip to the market, unnecessary.

Kind of a quirky store. The typical non-sale item on the shelves is basically always a dime or two cheaper at Giant or Wegmans, but this Acme is always running crazy buy-one-get one (or two) free sales on steaks, guacamole, etc. on the really slow days like Tuesdays which is when you should go there. Keep an eye on the one freezer endcap where there are usually 4 or 5 shelves filled with half price frozen foods too. Store employees are helpful and cheerful, if thats important to you (it is to me)

This is an unremarkable Acme serving the Thorndale/Downingtown area. Parking is okay most of the time, but it can be awkward when its busy. This is generally a well-stocked grocery store run by hardworking staff. The produce, meat and fish sections are average for this type of store, but the bakery and deli departments are somewhat better. Theres also a good choice of frozen food.

This place has gone downhill in the past few years. The staff used to be kind and willing to help but many have retired and been replace by young people who just dont care. The elimination of self-checkout has also been an inconvenience because there are rarely more than 3 checkout lines open. Ill stick to Wegmans.

This Acme has the best beef. When we want steak, this is the place to go. I like to marinade my steak, however even if I dont, they still have good flavor. There seafood is also always fresh. The store is old and needs a bit of remodeling, but is kept clean. Thats the reason I gave it three stars.

Acme changed there icetea to some nasty icetea it is gross they better go back to the icetea they got rid of I can see why Acme goes out of business why change a good thing.I only shopped Acme for icetea I wont shop there I will take my business somewhere else.

"Jane" was stocking the shelves and went wayyyy out of her way to help me find bread crumbs. The staff seem very nice and professional. WAYYYYY more professional than giants employees. But... the prices are crazy high.

Lashanna is a great cashier. Always has a smile, very efficient. First time my husband hasnt has to bag our groceries! Store never has Turkey Hill Diet Decaf iced tea available.

Great selection and prices. Not nearly as crowded as some of the other supermarkets nearby so good for a quick trip but also a great selection if this is your main place to shop.
