Wow what a cool place. I would come here again to meet up with friends anytime. Located across the street from Portland running gear and Nitro knitting store. It shares the plaza with Miller paint, gentle dental, and the ever so awesome Shiraz Persian lunch counter. We got there at about 12 noon on a Saturday. This place is getting really popular. It was almost packed with young, hip, fashionable patrons as well as a smattering of families. The pies are really popular here. The slice we ordered was blackberry/raspberry. It was not overly sweet as many pie places like to use way too much sugar. This was perfect for my taste as I am into the texture and taste of the crust and the filling, not the sugar. You must order their mochas at some point on one of your visits. The turkish mocha was perfect and creamy and heavy with cardamom which I am obsessed with. My husband ordered the Mexican mocha was very flavorful as well. Both are a home run. The decor is early to mid 1960s airport theme. Kinda like the TV show Pan Am only they celebrate TWA. Really super cute. Really cool music retro soul I think I heard Nina Simone singing ; "I put a spell on you"....and Jet Set Coffee certainly did with their Turkish cardamom mocha. The only things I would change would be their hours and have them to be open later as we are night owls. I also would use the space in the back corner under the mural as a place to host poets and music performance. Hope to be back soon. I would imagine this would be the perfect follow up after dining at Shiraz. Stop in and get some dessert and one of those mochas. Puts a spell on me!

My husband and I recently moved to Tigard and were trying out some new shops. This is by far my favorite coffee in the area and definitely my favorite shop. Jet Set is a small cozy joint with a classy jazz feel and in an open, out going environment. Travis greets all of his regulars by name (there are a lot of us!) and always makes time to say hello and ask how youre doing, even if hes busy. The rest of the staff has been perfectly selected, all of them happy, outgoing, well mannered and working seamlessly together. Its the kind of environment where you can say hi to anyone, customer or staff, and strike up conversation. Better yet, this amazing atmosphere does not jeopardize the quality of drink or food. One of my favorites is a dark chocolate lavender mocha, but Ive never had a drink I didnt love! Even the food is great! Traviss own mother often works the kitchen and she definitely knows what shes doing. They arent a food specific joint, so dont go comparing their sandwiches to commercial food chains but they definitely compete! Speaking of competition, I should also mention all of their pastries are made fresh day of, or you can even grab something day after for a discounted price! We tip every time and every time they deserve it and so much more - which is why Im writing a review now! If you are buying coffee in the Washington Square area! Go to Jet Set on Scholls Ferry and Nimbus behind the burger king. And say hello to Travis from Amber and Zac!! Enjoy and remember to tip ^_^

This is our go-to neighborhood coffee bar. The coffee is skillfully made and they automatically increase the number of espresso shots for larger beverages (something I have to request at most other places). A good selection of pastries and pies is usually available (made on site). We highly recommend the breakfast bagel sandwiches. I usually get the breakfast bagel with sausage on an Everything bagel and havent been disappointed yet. The decor is meant to evoke a mid-century modern atmosphere, with a lot of borrowing from JFK International Airports Terminal No. 5. It is unique and interesting place to get coffee and hang out.

Best coffee shop ever! I stumbled upon this place one day when my usual coffee shop was closed. Since then, I havent gone anywhere else. The vibe is unique, the service is fabulous--they remembered me the second time I came in!--and now I am a regular. The in-house pastries (seriously, all of them are handmade with love) are to die for, the coffee delicious, the people wonderful. I havent felt this at home at a cafe since leaving the Kafe Kultur of Berlin. I spend hours here each week finishing term papers, studying, and chatting with the regulars and staff. You should come by too.

Epic, the coffee is deep, sweet and missing the acrid top tannins. The space is classic, warm, friendly and reminicent of my grandmothers midcentury decor. And then we have geek chic, whisps of heroes sharimg their powerful essences with the space. Maybe you will feel the (tri) force when you walk in and maybe you will just be pleased with a great cup of joe at a good price. Ether way, you will take something away from Jet Set that will warm your heart.

The coffee is great. Pastries baked right on site, always fresh and of superb quality. My favorite small business in Tigard. The family who runs this coffee shop are the kindest, most thoughtful and lovely people Ive met in the neighborhood. My car door was frozen and wouldnt shut and they came out and helped me get on my way without me asking. I cant say enough good things about Jet Set Coffee. Loyal customer por vida.

Best coffee in Tigard (not Beaverton as one reviewer stated). These guys are passionate about everything they touch - the coffee, the pastries, architecture and tailoring...and it shows! Best cappuccino this side of the west hills, and very friendly service that remembers your name and what you like. Go check them out.

I ordered a cup of coffee there about a month ago. The batista was too busy talking with his friend to notice that the coffee was out and he needed to start another pot. Ended up doing a quick pour over. This was the worst cup of coffee I have had. It had quite a bit of chunks in it. I had to dump it. Will never go back.

Today was our first time to Jet Set. We went for the coffee and orders the real caramel latte; it was delicious! The pastry chef came out and offered us a sample of their homemade chocolate cream pie as he heard it was our first time. That pie was the best chocolate cream pie weve ever had! We will be back :)

Great coffee and amazing house-baked goodies served in a retro cool space by friendly baristas. I can personally vouch for the pumpkin cake and spice cake (both very dense and rich), as well as the strawberry rhubarb pie which had intense fruit flavor and the most tender pie crust Ive ever eaten.

Good coffee, great service. Little out of the way for most but without much wait time and comfortable environment its worth checking out. The coffee isnt as good as some speciality places but is better than Starbucks and Dutch Bros. And all the employees have been very friendly.

Amazing staff, unique atmosphere for a coffee shop, and great care taken in preparing the coffee. Its a pretty acidic roast, but I like it that way. My wife doesnt, however. Id say try it and see if youre like me (and the majority of the reviewers) and LOVE this place.

Their coffee is rich and delicious. Didnt know a mocha could be this good. No drive through, but its worth getting out of your car. Edit: they also have a fantastic rewards system and the people working are always super friendly. One of the best coffee shops.
