Fun "boardwalk" style walking area (concrete and scooter-friendly) lasting many blocks along a beatiful white-sandy beach. Downtown shopping and games arcades are just a few feet away. The kids love it, and older teens are happy "hanging out." (Apparently, the dogs also love it here. Despite the warm weather, pooches were very plentiful--all on leash with their owners.) Handicap friendly, parking is a challenge so walk or ride or skate if you can. (We also saw an interesting assortment of bicycles everywhere--from 2-wheelers to 6-seaters, thanks to local rental companies.)

Its a really nice place, long paved promenade going from one end of the beach to the other. Youll pass lots of pretty homes and areas that make it easy to walk out to the water. Be sure to mind people on bicycles, though most will ring their bell if their coming up from behind. As I said, its a very dog friendly town, just mind your pup please, since other humans dont always mind theirs. The mornings are pretty quiet, mostly just the runners or older people out for their walk. Even panhandlers dont get aggressive or rude, they seem to just find it place to sit.

Seaside is a great place to go if you love to be around a lot of people. There are wonderful shops to explore and food places galore as well as a go cart place. During peak season it is very busy but finding parking is still possible. The beach is long and wide and plenty of room for everyone. There are street musicians and large looming hotels that are right over the beach.

This beach is a must see! Very beautiful, very huge area, the waves of the Pacific ocean are powerful yet calming and the atmosphere will leave you with an in depth understanding of how vast the world around you is. Nothing like this where Im from, but the world IS pretty big and there ARE many other places left to see. Seaside Beach just so happens to be the best so far!

A great stretch of beach, catering mainly to tourists. Though it is often crowded during the summer, it is quite large, so finding a good spot for relaxing is easy. You will also find many campfires going in the evening. A beautiful place, and along with nearby Cannon Beach it comprises one of the more attractive and accessible areas of the spectacular Oregon Coast.

Beautiful touristy beach area. good amount of shops to walk around and kill time at. Be wary of what seemed to be people selling time shares. We, along with many who passed by, were offer free stuff to attend their information session. These folks werent overly pushy though, just did their jobs and asked everyone once.

Best time to go is during the weekday and even then parking is spotty. The cops go around holding up traffic just to harass people minding their own business only to not even arrest them or give them a citation. Other than that, it’s pretty great. Lots of places to choose from for fun and eats.

Clean public restrooms. Great downtown shopping area. Swings on the beach that my kids loved. An odd comment, but the sand was easy to walk in. It wasnt very loose which made it easy to navigate. A lot of people were wearing shoes on the beach which didnt get sand logged due to the harder sand.

If you love Pokemon Go...this is an awesome place to hunt....if you are out for an adventure along the coast you dont want to pass this beach by. There are a lot of unique shops and good food to explore. Plus an awesome beach to dig your toes in the sand. You will not be disappointed.

Seaside is a great beach for families, since the promenade has free parking, bathrooms, a swing, and a nice sandy beach area close to shops. Will be crowded and overrun with families. Cannon beach a bit south is a bit fancier but not as convenient for families.

this is a great beach if you like being around people. It is a fun place and it seems there is always something going on, at least on the nicer days. Volleyball, kite flying, people watching, surfing, street musicians, just to mention some while Ive been there.

Nice sandy beach. Bathrooms with changing areas & outdoor showers at the end of the main road. Swing sets. Occasional lifeguard on duty. Sometimes shells to find. Sea life like whales & pelicans are sometimes visible from the shore. Great for kite flying.

Love Seaside! Been coming here since I was a kid. The reason for only 4 stars is because there seems to be more and more kids loitering everywhere you look! Also a lot more panhandling on each street corner. Gotta love Oregons liberal lawmakers!!

Seaside is great but what sucks is having the bathrooms a Lil far away from the beach. Having to cross the hot sand each time to use the bathroom isnt pleasing esp when you have children that need to use the bathroom at random time.

With a traffic jam all the way there, you gotta leave early (if coming from the Portland area) to beat the crowd. Once there, the place had a nice selection of eateries and tons of real estate on the beach.

The town itself has a variety of shops and restaurants. There is a promenade between the town and the beach where you can either walk or ride a bike. The beach is nice and it has swings and restrooms.

Beautiful and fun my only beef is 90% of the stores only accept cash?! What is that? Cmon people its 2017 get a square. Other than that its fun and the sand feels like powder snow had a great time.

Fun oceanside beach. Lots of activities for all ages, shopping, all kinds of restaurants. Beautiful promenade along the beach with a memorial statue of Lewis and Clark at the central roundabout.

Had so much fun... Theres even a carousel indoors, candy stores galore, lots of places to shop and its THE END OF THE TRAIL Louis and Clarks final destination in the States. To much fun..

Just driving by for a quick lunch it was crazy busy found out there was a volleyball tournament going on. A lot of fun shops will definitely come back and spend a weekend.

Nice beach with restrooms and foot wash stations. There are many shops around the beach and hotels. Found a lot of broken sand dollars, was hoping to find one intact.

It is a nice beach to take your family. The only complaint I have is it is a little dirty. The water is normally really cold so be prepared.
