The movie theater and red robin are really the only reasons this mall still exists. Not a lot of variety for shopping, and lots of empty space where businesses have closed. Tip: buy your movie tickets early and head to the food court. The candy story there will give you a 10% discount on your purchase. Do not buy candy or drinks at the theater, way too expensive. Never leave anything of value in your car. Lancaster mall is notorious for smash and grabs. I worked for Best Buy right next to the mall for 5 years and just about every week we would have to call police about a car that got broken into.

Although I am not much of a mall-goer, I live near Lancaster Mall so I do shop there every now and then. It used to be a fairly lively place but at least four shops have closed in the past few months including Macys, Sportsmans Warehouse and Starbucks. There are still enough shops to make it worthwhile to go to Lancaster Mall such as Sears, Burlington Coat Factory, several phone/internet stores and a food court with a good selection, but its not as good as it used to be. Lancaster Mall makes a great place to hang out with friends before/after seeing a movie at the (very) nearby movie theater.

Im not a big fan of malls to begin with, so they have an uphill battle when it comes to having me rate them. Even with that bias in mind, I find the Lancaster Mall to be lackluster. Their play area for kids is tiny, which means it isnt a great respite for weary parents after a long day of shopping. The food court has a dearth of good options. Ive heard this mall is going to undergo some serious rennovations in the near future, so Im hoping it improves. In the meantime, I generally only venture in here when theres a specific store I need to shop at.

The selection of stores has gotten better over the years, however some of the stores that were great and a part of my childhood like Orange Julius and other stores like the pet store and the McDonalds and Baskin-Robbins arent there anymore. theres just been a change as there always is but that coin collectors store is gone, and that really cool cigar smoke shop thing is gone which is sad because that wooden indian and the fragrance is definitely a strong memory. :(thanks to me

Outside is great with all the stores you need, Best Buy, Red Robin, Payless, Movie Theatre, and more.. Inside its vacant and getting worse. Mcdonalds left the food court, sports authority, closed, macys closed. many vacent stores, and I was looking to open up a shop there and the rent is crazy. No wonder the place is dying If and when Sears goes out of business it might as well be a flea market in there.

The myriad of stores and coffee shop to friendly vendors in between the wide hallways are exceptional. This mall is that perfect mall all teens should visit to hang out and watch a movie while grabbing a cup of coffee from Starbucks or Dutch bros and just being teens or grabbing a quick bite from Julius juice stand near the front and finding great deals off of Burlington or footlocker

Its a nice mall, fairly clean. But I did not appreciate that the kids zone was being use by big kids, my two year old was very scared to play because kids that were at least 6 years old were playing on it and being very rough. Second time this has happened, very disappointing! I definitely wont be bringing my child back here to play. Other than that, its a good mall.

A good shopping center with one of the best movie theatres in town attached to it. Always clean and tidy which is appreciated. It is smaller than most malls which can be good or bad depending on your personal preference, but it has all the events you would imagine all malls do such as trick or treating during Halloween and a Santa Claus in December.

Dirty, crowded and not my favorite mall in Salem. The Macys is abysmal. The Burlington Coat Factory, while large, will nit even let men try on their dress shirts. The only nice thing about this mall is the Best Buy in the parking lot and the movie theater in the northwest side. If at all possible, I prefer to shop at Salem Center mall instead.

Lancaster Mall is Under constuction. Many improvements are coming within a year. like adding a Hobby Lobby .They are changing the cosmetics. There will be more outside entrances. Inside Mall access to stores will be limited. Im not sure if this will be a good thing. Several stores moved out. Will wait and see. Location is great. Parking good.

There are a lot of empty stores, Im surprised this mall is still in busniess. They no longer have a coffee shop, or a sporting goods store. Macys is also in the process of closing down their store at that location. Anything they have is also at the Salem Center mall a few miles away, so theres really no reason to go to this mall.

This mall is a joke. There are maybe 15-20 stores inside. All of which are unorganized, terribly staffed for the most part, and most arent even worth the time you would spend in them looking for something. Lancaster mall is not a true Mall it feels more like a building with a tiny handful of useless stores tossed inside.

Lots of memories here from over the years, the place looks a lot cleaner than it use to. Was sad when the Starbucks moved out, but that is life. Love the Burlington and Sears, and the movie theater looks awesome now! :) Miss the old fountain in the middle of the walkway, use to love throwing coins in all the time...

This mall really looks like it was a cool place at one time. Unfortunately, many stores are now empty and it leaves much to be desired if youre looking for a good place to shop. We stopped by just for game stop though, and the guy in there gave us the best experience weve ever had at a game stop! So they get 5 stars!

Their hairstylists are highly skilled, excellent haircut every time I go. Always had good experience, theyre very friendly. After first visit I became their customer for lifetime. Udi is my favorite hairstylist. Best time to go during weekdays, weekends are sometimes busy have to wait for 15-20 minutes. Fair prices.

From what I hear they are currently changing it to an outlet mall and as a result many of the stores there have closed (though the liquidation sales were good). There are more stores at the downtown mall. But at least there are other stores near by (like Target) and lots of restraunts (McGraths, Red Robin, etc).

Many stores are closing out and moving locations. By 2017, Macys, Pac-Sun, Sports Authority, and numerous other nationwide stores will no longer have stores here. As for whats left, Gamestop, Movie Theater, Burlington Factory, and numerous smaller and more niche stores are still around.
