Title wave is fantastic. Do you like books? Take it upon yourself to peruse the stacks and you may find wonderful and fabulous things hidden betwixt the pulp. Ive walked out of Title wave with five or six books that I was very excited to read after spending less than ten dollars.

Great place to do some literary treasure hunting--some trips are more fruitful than others. For childrens books, however, this might be the best place in the city to go. Tons of titles for emerging readers, and all around $1-$3. Make a Saturday out of it with your kids.

Go on Wednesdays for the weekly deal - usually 2 for 1 on a certain genre. Still a great trip to make any day, the stock rotates quickly. Staff is always friendly and the pace relaxed. Feels more like a neighborhood bookstore than part of the library system.

I went for kids books. Selection of fiction was vast but prices were too much. Sometimes 4 times as high as a thrift store. Almost nothing educational available in the kids books. I didnt buy anything and dont plan on coming back.

One of the best bookstores in Portland that isnt powwels. This place has extremely low prices, but the book quality may vary. I have found brand new books for fractions of their original price. The vibe is great too. Very calm.

This is an amazing place to find the books you love at prices you can afford. And teachers get a 25% discount. I homeschool so that is a huge bonus for our family.

Nice place to browse on a rainy day. Great prices on older library books. Hard to find in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Street parking.

Looks massive but there isnt as much available as the building size implies. Great prices though

The staff is friendly, the prices are low, but I was hoping for a much larger selection.
