Just like most people without experience in ordering business cards (mostly having an assistant do it), I was clueless in how to articulate what I wanted a business card to portray. Eric Leisy and I sat down for about 30 minutes and asked a few questions about my company and our product. Eric has this way of putting you to ease and not letting feel like you have no idea what youre talking about, but that isnt the most impressive part about Phoenix Media. Over the course of a few weeks, Eric would email design mock-ups and my uber-particular ego would send them back with few directions other than I wanted us to go in another one. Eric, with the patience and understanding of a monk, would always come back with that new direction until we found the one. Through it all, Eric had a great attitude; this wasnt his first rodeo and I could tell. This still wasnt the most impressive part about Phoenix Media. With the final design getting a couple tweaks here and there, Eric recommended a higher card stock that would best suit the look we were going for. I myself was really enamored with the design, regardless if it was for me or not, but you just never know until the final product is seen. And that was the most impressive part about Phoenix Media--the ability to deliver a remarkable product that I was proud to have my name on it, even though it was Eric all over it. That next week I recieved four calls from people I had handed the new cards to previously. Two were for new business and two were to compliment my card and find out who designed it. I happily shared Erics name and number as I would with anyone looking to experience what service is supposed to feel like. Many Thanks to Eric and Phoenix Media; it was done once, it was done right. So upset with their process. Business cards took 12 days to print instead of the 5-7 quoted. Was led to believe their process was inhouse, but the business cards were outsourced. When asked to be escalated to someone who could help me with the process, I was told I was talking to the person who makes the decisions, but yet was just the office manager Heather. She was curt and unreally to try to speed up the process when I told her I was in a bind and needed the cards for a specific event. I then asked for an adjustment on the price because of the delay and us unable to use the cards for the intended purpose and she refused and said they would offer a discount off a future print job. Unfortunately, this will do me no good as I will not trust them with a print job again.

Outrageous Audio

This place is hands down the best kept secret in Portland for printing. I have had my business cards, brochures, and all kinds of other stuff done here. Down to earth, Honest, and always willing to help make things right. When I bring a file to them they always look it over and tweak it so it has that pro look. Many economical printing places would just "Run It" as is. These guys are awesome. I really dont know how they do it. I have dealt with Ron the owner as well as all of the other staff, and this place does it right. If you really want something awesome, let their graphic designer go crazy on your next project. These people came up with designs and logos that I could of never conceived.

Our Recycling company has utilized just about every printing & marketing company in the Northwest over the past 20 years and I can say without a doubt that PHOENIX MEDIA whom we just recently found(unfortunately) has raised the bar. In fact so much so, that it seems we may have been swindled and taken for a ride by other companies. Do not let the fact that Phoenix has the absolute best prices deter you. This is one of the very rare cases where price does not dictate quality. Our flyers were $1,000 cheaper(YES, $1,000) , they were Thicker, and the colors were much truer and more intense, and no flaws. Super fast and very helpful! Great Job Phoenix!

I work for local concert promoter Mike Thrasher Presents so as you can imagine we have A LOT of printing needs. From the fliers you see along most major avenues to the handbills that are distributed at local events, Phoenix Media handles them all! Their staff are all so helpful and friendly, and they really strive to make sure we get what we need when we need it (and sometimes we needs things NOW!) They do an exceptional job printing; everything we receive from them is of excellent quality. It really helps to know we have a friend in the printing business and I would highly recommend their services to anyone who may be looking for a printer.

The PostCard Project is an educational STD/HIV/AIDS awareness project and our group didnt have any funding for the project, but it needed a special run. Ron Enright, the CEO of Phoenix Media made it happen when other LGBT advertised Printers told us "no". Thanks to Ron and his team, we were able to make the resource cards available for the Pride Northwest festival and parade. Phoenix did a perfect job and our Association will use them for many projects to come! We also did our file prep and uploaded all online in 24 hours!

Patrick was immensely helpful in getting my file ready for printing, especially as I couldnt figure out how to make the final adjustment he recommended. Finally he offered to do it himself in Photoshop-- thank you, Patrick! There was a miscommunication regarding the order, which Patrick then speedily corrected at no cost to me. The staff is friendly and helpful and the turn around time is remarkably short--I will go back again!

I called Phoenix Media on Wednesday afternoon to process an order and needed it to be delivered to me by friday in Seattle. They were extremely helpful and didnt promise but did say they thought it would be possible to get it to me. And boy did they deliver my order looked great and it was here by noon Friday.
